GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:
KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of a wit from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto William Williams
a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing 50 Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 22d day of May one thousand eight hundred
and forty four lying and being in the County of Madison on the waters of the
Bog Clover Creek and bounded as followeth law A Beginning at a Spanish oak and white walnut
on a branch and corner to Shelton Brockman 50 acres thence with his line N70 poles
to a white oak black oak and dogwood at his corner thence N42W14 poles to a black oak on
___ ___ old line with said line N85W206 poles to a chesnut and white oak on said line thence
S50 poles to a chesnut oak thence S35E58 poles to a poplar and black gum at corner to 70 acres
___ made in the name of Burgess Baker with a line of same N34E66 poles to a black
gum and black oak at corner to said 70 acres and also a corner to 50 acres made in said Baker
name thence with a line of said 50 acres N60E68 poles to two black walnuts on the NE side
of said branch at white oak close by marked KC thence down said branch and at line of said
50 acres to the Beginning.
With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said
William Williams
and his heirs forever.

Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal
of the Commonwealth to be affixed, at Frankfort, on the 24th day of
