To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:

KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of warrant from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Sally Harrison (late Brockman) and her children assees of Shelton Brockman


a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing one hundred and fifty         Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 20      day of March     one thousand eight hundred
and forty six           lying and being in the County of Madison on the waters
of Big Clover Creek and bounded as followeth to wit: Beginning at a black walnut and ___ then a corner to 50 acres made for said Shelton Brockman on a branch with a line of same N39W12 poles to two white oaks on the said line W42 poles to a maple and hickory S8W7 poles to a maple and dogwood a corner to Jno Kaylor survey of 50 acres with his line S39W20 poles to a buckeye and maple on a branch S12E28 poles to a poplar S44 poles to a hickory and gum on a ridge S55E160 poles to a white oak on the N side of a branch and corner to 50 acres made for A Brockman with his lines N75E22 poles to a pine and black gum S84E24 poles to a hickory and dead white oak and black gum a corner to 50 acres made for Nancy Giles with her lines N60W46 poles to a chesnut oak and forked poplar N at 146 poles a white oak marked KC and poplar her Beginning and corner to Abner Williams 50 acres with his line N15W90 poles to a spanish oak and chesnut tree corner to 100 acres made for Reason Baker and a corner to 50 acres made for Jno Ramsey with Ramseys line S70W133 1/3 poles to a chesnut and spanish oak sapling his corner N20W24 poles to a black gum and dogwood a corner of said Brockman ___ 50 acres began on with lines of the same W28 poles to a white oak on a hill side N56W80 poles to the Beginning




With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said Sally Harrison and her children




and their heirs forever.
