John Breathitt Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky To all to whom these presents
shall come Greetings Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of a Kentucky Land office
warrant No. 22502
there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto John B. Harrison assee of Robert
Harris a certain
tract or parcel of land containing fifty acres by survey bearing date 14th day of September
1832 lying and being in the County of Madison on both sides of the Clover Bottom
fork of Rockcastle river
including the house where the said Harrison now lives and bounded as followeth to
wit Beginning at two white oaks on a line of a 50 acre Survey that was made for William
Titus
thence N80 East 28 poles to a white oak and dogwood thence N58 East 26 poles to three small
dogwoods on a branch thence S50 West 46 poles to a white oak on the East side of the Creek
thence s5 East 40 poles to a white oak and sugartree thence S50 West 10 poles to a stake in the
middle of
the Creek at a poplar buckeye and sycamore pointers thence up the creek N40 West 20 poles to a
beech
and buckeye at the mouth of the Rock Lick with Kiah Crookes line and up the
Creek
in all 56 poles to two white oaks on the bank of the Creek West 20 poles to a stake
thence N3 West 92 poles to a white oak another one of Titus corners with his lines N70
East 24 poles
to a black oak and hickory N40 West 36 poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have
and to hold the said John B. Harrison and his heirs forever In witness whereof the said
John Breathitt Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereunto set his hand and
caused the seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort on the fifth day of June
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three and of the Commonwealth
