GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:

KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of warrant from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto John B. Harrison assee of George W. Rogers


a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing twenty five         Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 1st      day of February     one thousand eight hundred
and forty eight            lying and being in the County of Madison
on the Clover Bottom fork of Rockcastle and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning at a stake where a spanish oak and white oak Called for and corner to Shelton Brockmans 50 acres John Ramseys 50 acres and Burgess Bakers 70 acres thence with said Bakers N136 poles to a poplar and black gum corner to said Bakers and William Williams 50 acres thence S46W98 poles to a stake in said Brockmans line thence with his line S48E100 poles to the Beginning




With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said
John B. Harrison




and his heirs forever.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said John J. Crittenden Esq.
Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal
of the Commonwealth to be affixed, at Frankfort, on the 21st day of
