D'tails in the Pearl
Thank you for your interest in my business.  I have been grooming since 1996.  I am one of the few people lucky enough to be able to say that I love my job. I have worked in multi groomer, high volume shops, one groomer shops, and in the veterinary field from kennel help to assisting an after hours animal emergency veterinarian.

All the experiences I have had have allowed me to become the groomer I am today.

I am certified in the Terrier group and the Non-sporting group. (Poodle, Bichon,...) through the International Professional Groomers Association.  I am currently studying to become a certified master groomer. (CMG) I am not only training to certify, but do it with the highest scores I can accomplish.  Passing the tests in itself does not take great achievement.  It is getting the A'a and B's that require real talent and commitment. I am excited and proud to tell you that I recently took the practical tests for the Terrier group and achieved a B on my short legged Terrier. A sweet little Scottish Terrier named Highland.

I also enjoy participating in continuing education.  I have a tutor that comes from New Mexico 2-3 times a years to ensure that I am up to date on all the current styles and techniques.

I use only high quality products.  Every pet recieves a Hydrosurge bath which includes a nice massage followed by a conditioning rinse. Toe nails are trimmed and ears are cleaned. They are then dried. Hand fluffing is a lost art for many groomers that I am incorporating into many of my grooms. It straightens the coat and makes for a nicer, more finished groom.  I do much more hand scissoring than I used to do as well.

I  also enjoy hand stripping.  This is a service done to many Terriers.  It is like a pore cleansing whole body treatment.  You often will see adverse coat and skin conditions improve if not disappear completely. As this is a time intense project advance appointments are required as well as pre-booking your next appointment.

I look forward to meeting you and your treasured pet, so please give me a call so I can schedule an appointment for you.
