The sun was shinning through the windows of her bedroom back home. She was opening her eyes as the sun danced across her closed eyelids to go and close the blinds. When she looked up she saw Eddie standing over her with a pillow and knife. The look on his face was one of a wild, crazy man about the do something that he would regret years from then.
"No one can have my Kitty cat" Eddie said and pounced on top of Catherine like a wild animal jumping on its prey.
He grabbed a hold of Catherine's wrists as she tried vigorously to escape his grasp but he just pushed on her wrists harder causing her to scream out in pain. He brought the pillow down resting it on top of her flat, smooth stomach and raised the knife up over his head.
Catherine saw the burning fire of rage in his eyes as he looked into her scared blue eyes and the tears that where running down her cheeks. She was wondering when her knight in shinning armor was going to come in and save her from this mad man.
"And no one has my kitty's child" Eddie whispered and brought the knife down on to Catherine's stomach as she screamed out in pain and terror...
Catherine bolted up off the fluffy pillow with her eyes as huge as saucers and cold sweat trickling down her forehead. She was breathing heavily trying to calm herself down from the horrific nightmare she had just endured. Just to be sure she reached down and felt her stomach seeing and feeling no blood; it was just a silly nightmare.
She then felt a hand grab her arm and she shrieked out in fear once again thinking that it was Eddie that was beside her ready to stab her in the stomach. She could hardly see anything in the pitch-dark room, which made her more, frightened and she began to hyperventilate.
Gil reached over to the bedside table and pulled on the chain to the bedside lamp. The light blinded the couple for a few seconds. Once Catherine's eyes finally adjusted to the light she saw that it was only Gil beside her like it had always been.
"Jesus Christ woman you scared me half to death. What where you screaming about?" Gil asked as he saw the tears rolling down Catherine's cheeks and her bottom lip trembling with fear, she was obviously scared out of her mind about something, or someone.
"I...I just had a nightmare...that's all nothing to worry about" Catherine mumbled and lay back down on the nice soft mattress.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Gil asked now concerned.
"No, I'm fine I'm sorry if I frightened you. We should get some sleep since it is 2 in the morning" Catherine said and then dozed back off to sleep as if nothing had happened.
Gil reached over and turned off the light causing the room to go into total darkness once again. He leaned back down on to his pillow and lied there for a few moments staring up at the ceiling that he could hardly see. He didn't like it that Catherine was keeping a secret from him, he knew he would get what happened out of her one way or another. Seven hours later Catherine woke up to a very strange and sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. She slowly sat up which was a bug mistake because it made the feeling feel much worse.
She slowly stood but grabbing hold of the near by dresser as she saw the whole room spinning around and around like on a merry-go-round. Catherine stumbled her way to the small bathroom and lifted up the toilet seat. She looked down at the clear water and began to hurl into the toilet until she couldn't hurl any more.
Grissom reached over to wrap his arm around his beautiful and distraught lover when he felt there was no warm body beside him any more. He sat up hearing a sound coming from inside of the bathroom.
He leapt out of the nice warm bed and flew open the bathroom door seeing Catherine on her knees on the tile floor with her head in the toilet bowl vomiting. He saw her reach up and flush the toilet and grabbed on to the sink to help lift her self-up.
She still felt weak and fell backwards landing safely in Gil's arms as she looked up and smiled weakly at her knight in shinning armor. He smiled back and picked her up in his arms bringing her back to the nice warm bed. He set her down gently as he went and poured her a glass of nice cold water.
"Are you alright Cath?" Gil asked.
"Yes I'll be fine, it's just a little bit of morning sickness that's all" Catherine replied as she took a sip of water making the disgusting taste in her mouth finally go away.
"I think you better rest here for a little while before we head out to breakfast this morning. Where would you like to eat this time?" Gil asked giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"How about the Caf Persian, they are suppose to have very good food there as well, Catherine suggested.
"To the Caf it is,"
Sara opened her eyes to her daughter standing over her and smiling broadly at her. She looked like Sara's own guardian angel straddled on top of her daughter with the sun in behind making it look like a glow.
Sara sat up as her daughter sat down beside her and cuddled up close to her mother. She saw that August and David were cuddled close together on the bottom bunk. Over to the left Neleh was sitting on her bunk brushing out her dolls hair and humming a tune to herself quietly not wanting to wake anyone.
The only person missing from the group of friends was Greg. Sara smiled remembering all the fun times that she and Greg shared together the night before, before he headed back to his cabin to retire for the evening.
As if on cue there was a knock on the door and Sasha jumped down from the top bunk and went to go answer the door hoping that it was Greg standing on the other side.
"Good morning Sasha, is your mother awake yet?" the man asked. Sara recognized the voice to be that of Greg and jumped down from her bunk as well.
"Greg!" Sara said as she ran into his arms. He picked her up and twirled her around like a little kid and then gave her a good morning kiss.
"Good morning princess, good morning Neleh" Greg said spotting the little girl sitting on her bunk braiding her dolls hair.
Good morning Greg. You have to be quite my sister and David are still sleeping Neleh whispered and Greg smiled.
Sasha, why dont you stay here with Neleh and play with your dolls for a little bit. Well come back and get you guys when the bugle announces breakfast alright? Sara whispered.
Okay Mama, well be good no need to worry about us Sasha replied and gave her mother a kiss on the cheek.
Sara and Greg left the stateroom and walked down the hallway towards the general room. As they where getting closer they could hear Irish music blaring and peoples laughter from inside.
Do they ever stop? Sara asked raising her voice to be heard over the music.
I guess not, would you care to dance? Greg replied and held out his hand.
Why of course Sara placed her hand in his and they began to dance in circles mimicking the other passengers.
Meanwhile up above Catherine and Gil decided to go for a nice relaxing walk along the boat deck after they ate there breakfast in the Caf Persian. It was freezing out side, more that usual meaning that they were near an ice field.
Catherine and Gil decided to take a break before continuing their walk around the boat deck. They both sat down on one of the wooden deck chairs as many rich people passed by bundled up in warm clothing.
A few moments later the Captain walked by tipping his hat towards Catherine who he had recognized to be on the tour with Mr. Andrews a few days ago. A flock of crewmembers came to his side along with a telegrapher from the wireless room holding a sheet of paper.
Catherine had over heard the wireless man tell the Captain about an ice filed ahead and that they should slow down and have everyone on full alert for the next few nights until they pass.
Once the Captain was out of sight Catherine turned towards Gil who was staring out at the ocean over the railing of the boat deck unaware of what the Captain and the telegrapher where talking about.
Gil, do you think an Iceberg would be able to sink this grand ship? Catherine asked catching her lovers attention.
I dont believe so, Why are you asking? Gil replied.
Because I just overheard the conversation between the Captain and one of the telegraphers. He said that they where coming towards an ice field and that they should slow the ship down and have every man on alert
Darling, nothing can sink this ship. Remember it is unsinkable. There is no need to worry about that for this voyage, what you should be thinking about is what were going to name the baby
You're right, I shouldnt worry about this ship. If the Captain says that it is unsinkable then it must be unsinkable. Catherine said and smiled at Gil giving him a kiss on his cheek. Now for baby names. Well if its going to be a girl then I would love to name her Lindsey. If its a boyyou can choose the name for a boy
What about Gil sat there and thought for a few moments thinking of the perfect boys name what about Richard, or Rick for short
Richard Willows, or Grissom. That sounds perfect either way.
Same with Lindsey Willows or Grissom, I love you so much Catherine Gil said and gave Catherine a kiss on her rosy cheek.
Shall we walk? My bottom has almost got frostbite from sitting on these wooden deck chairs for so long
As you wish Miss Gil replied. He got up and then like a perfect gentleman helped Catherine up off of her deck chair. He was careful not to squeeze her swollen wrist to hard knowing that she was still in pain.
Back down on the Poop deck Greg, Sara and Sasha were standing near the railing enjoying the sea breeze. Sasha had Francesca wrapped in one of her mothers shawls and rocked it back and forth in her arms as if she were holding a real baby.
Sasha tugged on her mothers blue dress catching her attention. Sara looked down at her beautiful daughter with her running nose because it was so cold and picked her up.
Yes Sasha? Sara asked pulling out a tissue from in her pocket and whipping her daughters nose.
Look, Im you and Francesca is my baby sister named Elizabeth. You and Greg are going to have another baby right Mama? Sasha asked catching the two adults off guard with that question.
Im ah Im not sure yet Sasha. But you would make an excellent older sister wouldnt you? Sara said placing her daughter back on the boat deck.
I sure would. I would love to have someone that would look up to me and someone that I could help take care of
And Sara, you would make an excellent mother Greg complimented giving Sara a kiss. Sasha laughed at what the two lovers where doing causing Sara to blush.
After Catherine and Grissoms long walk around the boat deck Catherine wanted to head back inside and warm up. Her feet where frozen, her nose had frost bite. Her legs were trembling and she couldnt even feel her butt. She needed to do something to warm her body up. Something that would be fun at the same time and she knew exactly what to do.
Would you care to dance Gil? Catherine asked with a smile.
Dance? Where? They dont dance up in first class, Gil asked confused.
I know, but they do dance down in Third Class. Would you like to go dancing down there with me? Catherine asked grabbing Gils hand and leading him towards the lifts.
Sure, but do you think they would mind if we went down there and danced to there music? Gil asked walking inside the lift with Catherine right behind him.
I hope not, Catherine said and the lift attendant closed the metal gate behind the couple.
What deck Miss? the man asked with a smile.
E deck please Catherine said and the man gave her a quizzed look.
I have a friend down there and I promised her that I would come visit her Catherine said and the man pushed the lever to E deck believing her story.
Once the lift stopped on the designated deck the man opened up the gates and let the first class couple out of the lift before heading back up to A deck once again to grab some more passengers.
Catherine and Grissom walked down the corridor hearing loud Irish styled music coming from inside the room at the end of the hall. Many third class passengers gave the rich couple a look of disgust for them coming down to their part of the ship.
Catherine couldnt wait any longer. She wanted to get inside of that room and dance her heart out. She wanted to have some fun on this ship before it made its scheduled stop in New York on Tuesday morning. Catherine grabbed Gils hand and they ran the short distance to the swing doors and busted them wide open.
Both of them stopped running and stared in awe as if they had entered a whole New World. They had never seen how the other half-lives aboard this floating palace or back home in England.
They saw men, woman and children dancing around in circles and having a great time aboard the Titanic. Catherine would have never pictured this. Down below everything was full of life, and fun while up above it was all boring and dull.
They were all drinking and laughing while the rich were talking and sipping tea. No morals or ethics were used below decks; it was all fun and games every day. The saying is true; money doesnt by happiness.
Catherine grabbed Gils hand and led him out on to the dance floor. The other passengers didnt even realize that a first class couple had come and joined the party, which could be a good thing. The last thing they wanted was to start a fight.
She placed Gils hand in hers and began to move her feet to the beat of the music. Gil tried his best to follow her lead. He wasnt the best dancer on the face of the planet but he did try his best to keep up with Catherine.
Catherine looked up from Gil and hers feet and smiled at Gil. He smiled back and gave her a kiss on the cheek causing her to laugh. Catherine was so into the music that she began to mimic the other passengers and dance around in circles still moving to the beat.
Youre a good dancer Catherine! Gil yelled to be heard over the drums.
You havent seen anything yet! Catherine mumbled covering it with another laugh at her lovers comment.
The music finally ended and the couple took a seat at one of the unused two-seater table that where located all around the outside of the dancing floor.
A young waitress came by and dropped off two glassed filled with beer on the table in front of the rich couple. She smiled and walked off leaving Gil and Catherine alone.
Catherine grabbed the glass off of the round wooden table and brought it to her lips. She had no one to please down here; there where no morals or ethics and all of the useless information she learned in finishing school went right out the window.
Gil watched in amazement as Catherine downed half of the beer in the glass in one gulp. He had never seen anyone drink anything like that before especially from someone who lived in a world where everything had to be perfect, polite and proper.
Catherine saw Gil with his mouth wide open and placed the glass back down on the table smiling at him. What? Have you never seen a woman drink before? Catherine asked.
Wellno I havent, well not like that at least Gil said and leaned over giving her a kiss on the cheek.
The music started up again with a new song and the same couples left there seats and went out on to the dance floor to dance to the beat once again. Catherine began tapping her foot to the beat of the music and then got an idea for something fun and unusual to do.
She took off her shoes and placed them on her chair. She grabbed Gils hand and walked towards an unused platform that was over in the corner of the room. Catherine got up on top of it and decided she would put on a little show for Gil. She began to tap dance to the beat of the music catching the eye of many spectators.
Catherine what are you crazy! Gil screamed and smiled at the hidden talent she had possessed.
Im not crazy! Im just having fun! For once! Catherine yelled back and kept moving to the beat while more third class passengers went over and to see the show.
The crowd was hooting and hollering at what the young, beautiful, talented and rich lady was doing over in the corner of the room. Even some children went over to where the lady was dancing and got up on top of the platform as well.
Gil watched as the little girls and boys began dancing like Catherine in no time while there parents where cheering them on in the much larger crowd. He saw how good she was with the children and knew that Catherine was going to make a wonderful mother one-day.
Catherine looked up passed the crowd and spotted another man in tuxedo walking around the room looking like he was searching for someone or something. Catherine couldnt mistake that mans ugly British face anywhere. It was Eddie; she had a feeling that he was looking for her.
Gil saw the look of panic and uneasiness appears on Catherines face. She was not enjoying her tap dancing anymore. She seemed to be looking over at their table. He turned around and saw Eddie walking around looking for Catherine.
Thank fully the song ended and Catherine was helped down off of the platform by some of the passengers that where up in the front row of the crowd. She tanked them for helping her down and saw that Gil wasnt in the crowd anymore. She slowly limped over towards her and Gils table seeing that he was sitting there with Eddie sitting in Catherines seat.
Shit, she mumbled and gave Eddie the middle finger as she walked towards the two men seeing a smile appear of Gils face when she did that.
Now Catherine, that wasnt very polite Eddie said and smiled wickedly at Catherine.
I was being polite, instead of you listening to me insult you for an hour I decided to sum it all up in one little hand gesture Catherine replied and Gil couldnt help but laugh.
It seems to me that you havent lost your touch, I wonder if the touch you put on in bed is still there as well Eddie snickered.
I only did that so you would stop beating the crap out of me Catherine retorted and rubbed her sore feet smiling over at Gil telling him that everything was going to be alright.
Would you like me to do that for you Catherine? You know I can give a real good foot massage, Eddie said trying to change the subject from his abusive behavior.
No thank-you, I might ended up with a disease if you touch meor another bruise depending on your mood today Catherine said and Gil couldnt help but smile at the courage his lover had against this scum.
The music began to play once again and Eddie smiled having an idea. Come on Catherine lets dance! Before she could resist his invitation with another smart remark he pulled her off the chair and brought them out on to the dance floor. He squeezed her wrists tight making sure that she wasnt going anywhere.
Since youre the dancer, you lead! Eddie yelled.
Ill lead you to the master of arms so he can arrest your ass! Catherine yelled back and Eddie spit on her face.
Lead bitch! he shook her and she gave in beginning to dance to the beat of the music. She was having more fun dancing with Gil then dancing with the scumbag she was stuck with at the moment.
Gil watched in horror as the man began to torment Catherine. He wouldnt let it happen to her again, and he didnt want it to get out of hand having her loose the baby.He followed them as they went deeper into the crowd of couples dancing to the same beat. He weaved in and out of them until he spotted Catherine and Eddie over in the far corner away from the rest of the crowd.
Gil could see the pain in Catherines eyes as she looked past Eddie and at Gil. He couldnt stand seeing his lover in so much pain he had to do something to stop Eddie from hurting her.
He walked over towards the couple and tapped on Eddies shoulder May I cut in? he asked smiling over at Catherine reassuring her that everything was going to be alright.
No! Leave us alone! Eddie yelled and Gil began to get mad
Let go of her Eddie or Ill make you let go of her, Gil threatened.
Why dont you try and get your beloved back from me then Eddie retorted.
Gil wasted no time thinking about what to do. He punched Eddie in the jaw causing him to let go of Catherines wrists. Eddie tumbled backwards on to a small table behind him and upset someones drinks.
Come on lets get out of here! Gil yelled to Catherine as she whipped the spit off her face nodding her head in agreement.
You bitch! Im going to get you! Eddie screamed and started to run after them as they left the General room.
Sara and Greg were dancing to the music when they saw the couple ran out of the room with another man in a tuxedo chase after them screaming at the woman. The song finally ended and they walked back to there table where August and David where sitting. Sara sat down and rubbed her sore feet hoping that the first class lady was going to be all right.
Did you two see that couple run out of here? It sounded like the lady was in some sort of trouble, Greg asked August.
Yes we did, I hope she is going to be alright. It looked like the man was pretty mad at her August replied and took a sip of beer.
Sasha came running across the room with Neleh at her side smiling broadly. Watch mama, I can dance like the rich lady Sasha said and another song began to play. She began to move her little feet to the beat of the music.
Neleh chimed in on the dancing as well and the adults looked at the two children amazed at how well they could tap dance to the music. Sara had taken dance lessons and knew how to do that as well. She decided what the hell and joined in on the two girls with the dancing as Greg stared in awe at his lovers hidden talent.
Sara, I didnt know that you could tap dance? Greg yelled.
Im full of surprises! Sara yelled back and laughed.
Meanwhile Catherine and Grissom where running down the long corridor and stopped once they turned a corner. They needed to take a break before Eddie would catch up to them.
I think-I think we lost him Catherine huffed while trying to catch her breath
CATHERINE! they both heard Eddie scream from down the corridor and they both knew that he was catching up to them.
I dont think so, we better hurry. I would hate to see what hell do once he catches us, Gil said grabbing Catherines hand.
The couple began to run down the hallway once again ending up at a flight of stairs. If they could get to Catherines stateroom then they would be safe from Eddie. Catherine bolted up the stairs with Gil not too far behind.
They finally made it up to the grand staircase. They knew that they were on B deck. Now they needed to get to her stateroom, which was just down the corridor a little ways.
Catherine and Grissom began to run down the corridor when they stopped abruptly. Catherine spotted her mother coming down the hallway with her group of friends. The last thing she needed was to hear an explanation from her mother, which she really didnt have time for at the moment.
They heard Eddies booming voice coming down the hallway after them and they needed to think fast before she was either lectured to death or most likely beaten to death. Grissom grabbed Catherines hand and saw that there was a little hallway between the two main ones that they could go down.
They ran down that one just as Eddie had turned the corner to the main hallway seeing Catherines mother coming his way. He knew that she didnt know the real side of him or he wouldnt have been introduced to Catherine in the A La Carte Restaurant. He didnt want to show her his real side or then he would be brought to the master of arms.
He stood to the side of the wall letting the woman pass and smiled at Catherines mother who then smiled back. Once they passed he saw Catherine and Gil emerge from the small hallway that was near their stateroom.
Catherine saw that Eddie was catching up and ran over to their stateroom door. Thank fully she didnt lock the door or they would have been sitting ducks. She pushed open the door seeing Eddie coming towards them fast and pulled Gil in after her. She slammed the door shut and locked it moments before Eddie reached the door.
It didnt take Eddie long before he began banging on the stateroom door while Catherine slowly stepped away from the wooden door at the sound of his pounding and screaming. She was afraid that he would have enough strength to bust through the door and attack her.
She heard another man approaching her stateroom and knew that it was the master of arms. She lay back on her Queen size bed laughing to herself as she heard Eddies screaming begin to die down as the officer was pulling him away.
Now that was the most fun that I have had the whole trip, Catherine said as she sat up. She looked down at her stocking feet noticing that she wasnt wearing any shoes causing her to burst out laughing once again.
Well at least we know that Eddie wont be a problem any more on this voyage, and Ill make sure that he never comes and touches you ever again Gil said as he sat down beside Catherine who was still laughing not hearing a word he just said.
You know after all that, I didnt even realize that Im not wearing any shoes. I must of left them down in the general room, Catherine said in between fits of giggles.
How about this, I go down and get your shoes while you take a nap and wear off the beer before we head out to dinner Gil said giving his drunk lover a kiss.
Alright. I guess I should rest, my mother would go completely bonkers if she saw me drunk Catherine whispered and then slowly began to close her eyelids. She lay back on the nice fluffy pillow and drifted off to sleep.
Back down below, Sara, Sasha, August, Neleh, Greg and David where all seated at a table in the Third Class dinning room. They had already ordered and were waiting for the waitress to come back with there meals.
I heard that there was going to be a party tonight in the general room August told the group.
Isnt there always a party in the general room? Greg asked.
Yes, but this one is special. Its celebrating the half waypoint in Titanics maiden voyage across the Atlantic. We should all go tonight, it sounds like its going to be a lot of fun
The waitress then came back and placed all of their meals in front of each of them. They all dug in talking about their plans of what to do when the ship docks in New York on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile Gil was heading up the grand staircase with Catherines shoes in his hands. It took him a good 15 minutes to find the shoes as there still where many people dancing and having a few drinks in the General room.
He was about to go down the hallway towards Catherines stateroom when he ran into Catherines mother and her clan of friends heading towards the lifts to go down to the dinning room.
Gil darling, what are you doing with my daughters shoes in your hands? her mother asked as Gil hid the shoes behind his back.
Your daughters shoes? Gil asked trying to play the innocent part.
Yes, I think I know what is going on here
You do? Gil questioned wondering if he was in trouble or not.
Tell Catherine I wish to speak to her in a few moments
Yes Madame Gil said and walked passed the group of woman and headed towards Catherines stateroom.
Gil entered the cabin seeing Catherine in the midst of getting dressed for her evening supper. He quietly closed the door behind him not taking his eyes off of the half-naked woman with her back to him sitting in front of the vanity.
Hello darling Catherine said not turning around as she placed the sleeves of her dress on her shoulders.
How did you know it was me and not someone else? Gil asked placing Catherines shoes on the bed.
Womans intuition, plus I could see your reflection in the mirror Catherine smiled and turned around giving Gil a kiss on the cheek.
While I was coming up the stairs with your shoes I ran into your mother Gil said taking a seat on the bed waiting for Catherine to finish getting ready for dinner.
I can just imagine the look on her face when she saw you walking up the stairs with my shoes in your hands Catherine said and laughed at the mental picture she had created in her head.
She said that she wanted to talk to you Gil said and Catherine stopped laughing.
Oh goodie. You better sit back and watch the fireworks display because when you have my mother and I in the same room all we ever do is fight about everything Catherine said knocking on the adjoining door.
Come in, Catherine heard her mother say from the other side and she opened up the door shutting it behind Gil.
Gil said that you wanted to talk with me about something? Catherine asked sitting down on the bed.
I want you to explain something to me, her mother asked.
Oh no, what kind of trouble did I get myself into this time?
I dont know, you explain to me why Gil was walking up the grand staircase with your shoes in his hands? her mother asked coldly.
Gil and I decided that we were going to have some real fun on this voyage. So to do that we went down to the third class area and did a little dancing. I forgot my shoes down there because we ended up getting a little side tracked. While I was sleeping off the beer that I had drank and Gil was a darling and went down to the General room, and retrieved my shoes Catherine explained.
Catherine, how many times do I have to tell you that you are not suppose to mingle with the steerage passengers? It is not proper, they have there own way of living and we have ours. Why if we didnt have those metal gates keeping them from coming up here then this ship would be like a zoo. Her mother explained.
Mother I cannot believe that you had just said that. You have to learn that everything in the world does not revolve around you. Just because they are less fortunate then us that does not mean that they should be locked behind gates like animals.
They have their own rights and freedoms just like the rest of us. You have got to understand that I am not like you. I dont care about money or how popular I am with the other filthy rich passengers aboard this ship. I have my own mind and I am old enough to make my own decisions. I do not need someone to tell me what to do! Especially if its you! Catherine screamed and her mother slapped her across the face.
How dare you use that tone with me! We are supposed to be told what to do and not to do. We are the women and thats what the women are there to do. They are suppose to cook, clean, have children and have no contact with the outside world. Its not suppose to be easy for us, we have to work to be even noticed in this world her mother retorted.
I did have a man run my life for me once but then I got out of it. You know whom that man was mother? It was Eddie. Yes the sweet and innocent man that you introduced Gil to in the La Carte Restaurant. He really isnt like that. He used to beat me and use me in wild sex games. I didnt want any part of it anymore so I left him and came home. While Gil and I where down in the General room he tried to hurt my baby and me.
We had to run all the way up where and in that confusion I forgot my shoes. Of course they werent the priority at the time. I just wanted to get as far away as possible from him before he tried to beat me again. If you paid a speck of attention to my life for a change then you would have seen the signs long before we even went on the Titanic. Catherine confessed then stopped. She just remembered that she had never told her mother until then about her and Gils baby.
Youreyour pregnant? her mother spat out.
YesI didnt want to tell you because then you would start asking all of these questions and that was the last thing I needed on my mind on this voyage. Now if you excuse us Gil and I are going to go enjoy dinner with out you there Catherine said getting up off the bed and grabbed Gils hand.
She slammed the adjoining door shut behind her and then her stateroom door. Her mother sat on the bed in shock at what her daughter had just told her. She was going to have a baby, and that Eddie was not the man that he seemed. This was all news to her and some of the news she didnt want to hear. Her daughter was actually beaten by a man that was just unexceptional to her. She wiped away the tears that had formed in her eyes and left to join her friends in the dinning room.
