Dolcetto d'Alba Lodoli 2004

A very pleasant Dolcetto from one of our favorite Producers in Piedmont. Great with hearty Italian cuisine.

An opaque wine with a purplish ruby red color. Black fruit flavors (blackberries and black cherry) dominate on the nose.

Fruit and concentration continue across the palate with a slight almond aftertaste typical of Dolcetto.

Le Doghe Rosso 2004

Renowned for their agriculture since the Bronze Age, the hills of Colli Euganei now produce wines of outstanding value.

Charming vibrant violet color. Aromas of red fruit. Round with herb and fruit flavors on the palate. Nice finish. Potent enough to serve with red meats, chicken, and pork dishes.

Trabucchi Terre Del Cereolo Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2000

From Trabucchi's best vineyard comes a wine so big and fine it is almost an Amarone.

Terre del Cereolo is made from a blend of traditional Valpolicella varietals: Corvina (70%), Rondinella (20%), and Molinara (10%).

Characteristic nose of ripe cherries, strawberries, licorice, and tobacco. Medium bodied with flavors of ripe plums and red fruits.

A great example of food-pairing versatility and the wonders the Northern Italians can do with Bordeaux grapes

Limes is a Bordeaux Blend. This wine is very good, not too expensive, and has very different flavors from typical Bordeaux blends. Any wine lover should taste it. This wine is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot

Garnet color; flavors of ripe red berries. Medium-bodied with instant fruit. Aromas are very different from a Bordeaux, a little more austere but quite good!
