Chapter 14

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I give you Mr. and Mrs. Quartermaine!" The DJ announced as we walked into the ballroom of the Grille and everyone errupted with clapping and shouts of cheer.

"I still don't know why you wanted a DJ, I could have gotten a full orchestra if you had wanted one." Dillon whispered into my ear as he wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked over to the table where we were to sit.

"Orchestra's are not my style and that would cost a small fortune. Plus I really dont think everyone here would appreciate an orchestra like you would." I said as I leaned forward and lightly kissed his lips.

"Georgie, stop worrying about how much everything costs. If there is one good thing that comes from being a Quartermaine, it is never having to worry about how much everything is."

"Yes, I know! I have had this lecture a hundred times by your aunt, Emily, your mom and even Edward. But seriously, this wedding already cost more than most third-world countries and that was with me holding back. Believe me, if we would have went with everything that everyone wanted we wouldn't be able to find a place big enough to hold it all." I said as Emma ran up to us and climbed up onto Dillon's lap. Maxie came up soon after balancing Brayden and Blake on her hips.

"I see you opted to change!" Maxie said as she pointed at me. I looked down to my white jump suite that I had changed into as soon as I found the nearest bathroom.

"That dress was gorgeous, but if I plan on enjoying myself tonight I knew I had to change into something more comfortable." I said as Dillon laughed. He hadn't changed but he did take off his jacket and was now wearing his white dress shirt and blake slacks. His tie, long since removed. "It's all about comfort tonight."

"Daddy, when are we going to eat the cake?" Emma asked impatiently as she stuck out her lower lip and gave Dillon her best 'feel sorry for me' stare.

"In a little bit, first we are going to dance and have some fun, then we get to eat the cake ok?" He asked as she looked disappointed. "Hold on." He said as he stood up and sat her down in his chair and then walked back into the kitchen. I took Brayden from Maxie and rocked him in my lap while we waited to see what Dillon was up to. Five minutes later he came back out holding a plate with a small shortcake covered with icing. "Here you go babygirl, it's the best I could do. Cook almost chopped my hand off, but I got it." He said as she jumped up and down before grabbing the plate and running off to where Kristina was and they both sat and devoured the small dessert.

"You caved!" I said as Maxie and I laughed.

"What are you talking about?" He asked innocently.

"If she told you to jump off a building, you'd ask which side. Are you going to give all the little children here there own little cake when they see that she got her own?" I asked as I bounced a giggling Brayden in my lap.

"Have you ever heard of just saying no?" Maxie asked jokingly as she sat down in the chair beside me.

"Well, you know she was giving me that look and..." Dillon started but I silenced him with a quick kiss.

"Are you kidding Maxie, he could never say no to his little girl." I said as he realized he was out-numbered. Brayden who was starting to get fussy, leaned towards Dillon with open arms. Dillon picked him up and set him down on his lap.

"I guess it is just us men against the women, huh. Early life less my man, they are always right. Don't dispute it. Oh and by the way, the back of the bottom layer of the cake is missing a big chunk of icing" He said as I lightly smacked him on the arm.

"Attention everyone. If we could have the bride and groom out here on the dance floor, please. It is time for the couples first dance as husband and wife." The DJ said as everyone started clapping again, a few whistles could be heard. Kyle came over and took Brayden from Dillon who helped me stand up. At this point I wasn't too big but I was showing quite a bit and I needed help occasionally. I laced my fingers with Dillon's as we walked onto the dance floor. Once there, Dillon walked up to the DJ, who handed him the mic.

"First off, Georgie and I would just like to thank all of you for showing up and being apart of this, and sharing this long-awaited and wonderful occasion with us. Most of you, at one point or another, thought that this was just something that would pass, but I also think that you same people have since realized that this is the real deal. Now I have a little something up my sleeves. I have enlisted the help of my brother for this one." Dillon said as Ned stood up and walked over to me, kissing my forehead quickly as he walked over to Dillon. "We all know his past experiences with the music business, but tonight he is leaving the alter-ego at home, along with the leather pants." Dillon said as everyone burst out in laughter. He went to continue but Ned grabbed the mic away from him.

"You're lucky that this is your wedding. Too many people would notice if you went missing because I took you out back and beat you!" Ned said as he wrapped one arm around Dillon's neck so he couldn't move. I was still standing alone in the middle of the dance floor but I couldn't help but laugh at the way they messed around with each other. "Go dance with Georgie before she comes to her senses." He said as he gently pushed Dillon in my direction.

Dillon crossed the floor in a few short steps and pulled me to him as his hands gently held onto my back. I rested my head on his shoulder as Ned began. "Georgie, you have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. But I am honored to be able to finally call you my little sister. If he ever gets on your nerves and you need someone to get him back in line, you know where to find me."

"Thanks, I'll remember that." I yelled back so he would hear me over everyone laughing.

"Ok, but you have done a damn good job so far, so I don't think you'll have a problem. Anyways, I am sure you'll recognize this next song. I was told this hold special meaning for you two." Ned said as I looked up at Dillon who couldn't stop smiling as the melody came over the speakers.

The first time I looked in your eyes I knew
I would do anything for you
The first time you touched my face I felt
What I never felt with anyone else

Tears immediatly blurred my vision as Ned sang the opening to the song that had slowly become ours. "You remembered!"

"Of course I did. How could I forget?" He asked as we started to slowly sway to the music. I hugged Dillon as close as my belly would allow as we danced silently, listening to the lyrics and how much they really mirrored our feelings for each other.

I want to give back what you've given to me
And I want to witness all of your dreams
Now that you've shown me who I really am
I wanna be more than just your man

"I love you." Dillon whispered as he pulled back and looked into my eyes.

"I love you too." I said as I leaned up on my tip-toes and captured his lips in a soft but powerful kiss that made my knees weak causing me to lean into him.

I wanna be the wind that fills your sail
Be the the hand that lifts your veil
Be the moon that moves your tide
The sun coming up in your eyes
Be the wheel that never rusts
Be the spark that lights you up
All that you've been dreaming of
and more, so much more
I wanna be your everything

When you wake up I'll be the first thing you see
And when it gets dark you can reach out to me
I'll cherish your words, I'll finish your thoughts
I'll be your compass baby when you get lost

"Mind if I cut in?" Mac asked as him and Tracey walked up to us.

"Not at all." Dillon said as he kissed my cheek before turning to Tracey. Mac held me at arms length before pulling me to him and hugging me.

"I know I never said this enough, but I am really proud of you. You and Dillon." Mac said as I hugged him tighter.

"Thank you. That really means a lot to me. Dillon has always wanted you to like him and except him." I said as the baby kicked. I smiled and rubbed my belly.

Be the wind that fills your sail
Be the the hand that lifts your veil
Be the moon that moves your tide
The sun coming up in your eyes
Be the wheel that never rusts
Be the spark that lights you up
All that you've been dreaming of
and more, so much more
I wanna be your everything

Dillon's POV
"You know, I still can't believe you did this..." Tracey started as I cut her off.

"Mom, I thought you were over that. Listen, whatever you feel about this, fine, but don't..." I went on as she silenced me with a stern look.

"If you would have let me finish I was about to say that I can't believe you got married here when you could have gotten married at any beautiful location you wanted in Europe." She said as I laughed. "What?"

"Just when I think I have you figured out, my whole theory gets blown out of the water."

I'll be the wheel that never rusts
Be the spark that lights you up
All that you've been dreaming of and more, so much more
I wanna be your everything

We were making our way towards Mac and Georgie, where I would cut back in when I noticed people running around along the sides of the room. Nobody else seemed to notice, as they were all watching us dance or quietly talking. I looked around and men dressed in all black were standing about five feet apart around the room as everyone started to pick up on this as they started to talk louder trying to figure out what was going on. Just then I noticed someone walk throught the crowd. Faith Rosco walked in, wearing all red as all the guest stood up to try to leave as I made my way to Georgie.

"Umm, hello!! Nobody move!" Faith yelled over everyone as the room became quiet. I slowly backed up until I was infront of Georgie as she gripped onto my shirt and burried her forehead into my back. "The next person that moves or says anything will find themselves on the floor in a pool of their own blood. Do I make myself clear?" She said as everyone remained quiet.

"Faith, what are you doing?" I asked as I looked around at all her guards that were in the room. There had to be atleast thirty men, all with guns, all ready to shoot and kill.

"Do I really need a reason? Can't I just hold up a room full of all of the most important people in the city because I have nothing better to do on a Saturday night?" She asked as she looked around as if waiting for a response. "Actually, I do have a reason." She said as she leveled the gun even with my chest.

"DADDY!!" Emma yelled as she broke out of Felicia's grip and ran across the floor towards us. Georgie ran and picked Emma up as Faith pointed the gun to Georgie as she tried to calm Emma down who was now hysterically crying. She hugged her close as she stared coldly at Faith, who seemed unphased. I jumped back infront of Faith as she pointed the gun back at me.

"Why are you doing this? Let them go!" I said lowly trying not to raise my voice and upset Emma any further.

"Or what? You are in no position to make demands."

"You can't do this to these kids. Atleast let them and their parents go. I'll stay, you obviously have something with me that you want to settle." I pleaded as Georgie continued to try and sooth Emma.

"I guess it would look really bad if the little brats got hurt. Fine, the brats and their mothers can go, but your little wife here has to stay." She said as she motioned to Georgie with the gun.

"No, Faith she needs to go with Emma. And she is pregnant, don't do this."

"If you do what I say then she will be fine and there will be nothing to worry about." Faith said as she looked around the room to all the stunned faces. "You heard what I said, if you are going to go, go NOW!" She yelled as the women grabbed their children and ran for the exit.

"What about Emma?" I asked harshly, I was slowly losing my patience with her. Faith thought for a minute and then looked around the room.

"You." She said as she pointed to Felicia. "You take her."

"Nooo, daddy!" Emma shrieked as Felicia took Emma from Georgie who was sobbing and clutching Emma to her. She reluctantly let go as I turned towards them.

"Just go with grandma, ok! Daddy and mommy will be fine. We'll see you in a little bit, be good babygirl." I said as tears fell down my cheeks and I kissed the top of her head as she struggled to wrap her arms around my neck. I gently took her arms from around me as Felicia backed up and then ran out the door.

"Now, tell me what this is all about. I swear, I will kill you, even if it means I'll die to." I said, if it wasn't for Georgie still being in the room I would have already lundged at her.

"Actually this has more to do with your mother." Faith said as she turned her gaze and the gun to Tracey.

"What?" I yelled.

"Why don't you ask your mom. Ask her about her relationship with my late husband, and what exactly she did to kill him."
