| Chapter 2
"How are we going to do this?" I asked under my breath as we walked into the classroom, Guy in front of me still holding onto my hand. Right away I noticed Dillon sit up straight, his full attention on us. "I've never really done this before." He whispered back as we walked over to an empty table and sat down. "Especially with a girl" He finished as he winked at me. The study hall room was in the cafeteria so we had to sit at actual tables and not desks. "I see we have a new student." Mrs. Arthur said as she walked over to us and smiled warmly at Guy who returned the gesture and handed her his schedule as she looked it over and signed her name on the piece of paper. She looked down at the paper and then back at us. "Guy. That's a really unique name." She said as she handed him back his schedule. "Yea, my mom thought so too." He said as she laughed and looked over to me. "Georgie, you going to show him around? Do you two already know each other?" She asked as she looked at us and then down to Dillon who had his head in his hands as Sage talked randomly, not caring that he wasn't listening. Punishment comes in all shapes and forms! "I've known him since he moved here, but yea I'm going to show him around." I said as she nodded at me. "Ok, well if you two want to take this period to roam around, don't let the door hit you on your way out." She said with a laugh as she walked back over to her seat. "Wow!" Guy said as he stared after her. "Ok, I am fairly confident it isn't her looks that you are so shocked with. What is it?" I asked as he looked back over to me. "This is the first public school I have gone to, because all the rest were on base and they were really strict. We weren't aloud to just leave and walk around the school." He said with an excited grin. "Well, things aren't that strict here. Not all teachers will just let you go, but most are pretty lenient about it, especially Mrs. Arthur." "I could get used to that! So how do you want to do this? I can back off and drop this whole thing or we can give everyone something to talk about. No one knows me here so why not come in with a bang, but I don't want you to be uncomfortable." He said as leaned back against the wall behind him. "I want him to squirm. I'm yours for the taking!" I said dramatically as I leaned forward so I was merely inches away from him. "I need to spice up my reputation before I am out of here anyways." I said as he raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, no one knows the real Georgie Jones?" He asked as he rested his hand on the outside of my left thigh and ran his thumb gently over the denim material. "They have no clue." I said flirtaciously. "We'll have to change that then." He said as he ran his index finger gently over my cheek, as I leaned my head into his hand. "Ouch, if looks could kill." He whispered in my ear. His hand still on the side of my face. "What?" I laughed. "Dillon looks like he is ready to jump me. I'm just trying to decide if I like the idea of that or not!" He said as he wiggled his eyebrows up and down playfully at me. I couldn't help it, I laughed a little too loudly at his comment and he pulled back as I looked around at all the people that were looking at us. I turned back around and busted out laughing, not being able to hold it in anymore. "Ok, if he wasn't paying attention before he sure is now." Guy said as he sat back up and pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear. "I'm not crossing any lines on you, am I?" He whispered as he pulled back and stared at me. "No you're fine. Go big or go home, right?" I said as he laughed. "That's a way to look at it!" He said and for the next ten minutes we sat there making moves that we knew would really catch Dillon's attention. The whole thing seemed childish but sure was a hell of a lot of fun! "I have an idea!" I said as I jumped up and grabbed my stuff. I leaned down close to him and held up a finger for him to be quiet. "Just follow my lead." I said as I pulled him up and held onto his hand as we walked quickly over to Mrs. Arthur and told her that I was going to show Guy around. She wished us luck and we hurried out of the room. As soon as the door shut behind us I slowed down. "Ok, are you going to tell me what that was all about?" He asked with an amused look on his face. "Us leaving as quickly as we did after all of the flirting and touching that just went on between us, that Dillon no doubt saw, his mind will be running with all the reasons we left so quickly." I said as we walked slowly down the hall. "I like the way you think." Guy said as we walked around for about ten more minutes. Just as I turned the corner I saw Dillon and Sage walking towards us. I jumped back, hoping he hadn't seen me and paced back and forth infront of Guy. "Maybe they'll turn around." I said as I stopped and listened. The footsteps grew louder. "I told you I was going to my locker, why did you follow me?" Dillon said as they got closer. "Because you're not going to your locker, you're trying to see where Georgie and that guy went. What you two see in her I will never know." Sage said. They were only a few feet away and I burried my head in Guy's chest hoping that I could disappear. "That isn't why I left." He said, his voice growing louder and they got closer. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. They were too close to just turn around now. "Oh please, you're just..." Sage went on to say as I thought quickly about what I was going to do. "Here goes nothing." I whispered as I leaned up and threw my arms around Guy's neck kissing him with every bit of passion I could muster. This had to look good. Guy, stunned at first, caught on and wrapped his arms around me, his hands resting on my hips just as Dillon and Sage came around the corner. Dillon stopped abruptly when he saw us and Sage ran into his back. "What the hell?" She said as she stepped from behind him. "Get a room, ughhh that is so disgusting." She said and when she finally realized who we were she cleared her throat trying to get our attention. We broke the kiss but I hugged Guy to me. "Sorry, I didn't know what else to do." I whispered as I pulled back and looked him in the eyes. He rubbed his hands up my sides in an attempt to tell me it was ok. This was going to be the hard part. "Ummm, hey. What are you two doing out here?" I asked as I turned to look at Dillon and Sage with Guy standing close behind me. "We should be asking you two the same thing." Sage said with a sly smile. "I was just showing him where his classes are and..." I couldn't think of anyting else to say. All I could see was Dillon standing there staring at me with anger and hurt evident all over him. My mind went blank. "She was showing me around and one thing lead to another. I'm sure you know how that goes." Guy said casually as he rubbed my back gently for encouragment. "Yea we know how that goes!" Sage said as he looped her arm with Dillon's but he shrugged it off angrily. "My my, Georgie it didn't take you long to find someone else you can make out in public with!" Sage said with an evil grin. She looked like the cat that just ate the canary. "Yea well it didn't take you long to get Dillon into bed either, did it Sage?" I snapped back. "Hey, you can't force the willing." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Do you really get off on going after people when they are weak? You know you sucked him in when he wasn't thinking clearly." I said as she took a step closer to me. "Listen miss priss the only sucking going on in that bed was..." I couldn't take it anymore. I went to step closer but Guy tugged on the belt loops on my jeans and pulled me back against him. "She's not worth it in the least bit. Come on lets go." He whispered in my ear as he wrapped his arms around my waist. He gently pulled me away and I took a few steps backwards long enough to catch Dillon's gaze. He looked like he was ready to die. I closed my eyes, and turned around walking away with Guy. |
