Chapter 12

When I opened my eyes the next morning I forgot where I was. But once my eyes adjusted to the light in the room I remembered last night and the three of us watching movies, and realizeing that we had all slept out here all night. Maxie startd to wake up but I didn't move I just closed my eyes and laid there, perfectly content in the warmth of Dillon's arms around me. We didn't really get to be this close very often so I wasn't going to rush it.

"Georgie." Maxie whispered.

"What?" I whispered back trying not to wake up Dillon.

"I was just wondering if you were up. I'm going to go getin the shower I have a class in a couple hours and I need to do a few things before I go." She said as she got up off the bed. "Seize the moment while you can." She said as she laughed and walked up stairs.

I couldn't help but laugh as well at her comment. Not wanting to get up, I pulled the blankets up closer to me and got more comfortable where I was. I laid there for a little while thinking about what we had just foun out yesterday and thinking about what all would happen in the yeas to come. The expected and the unexpected, all the while knowing we would be fine. We had our families to help us, our friends and we had each other. After about twenty minutes Dillon started to wake up. I lifted my head and rest my chin on his chest.

"Hey sleeping beauty!" I said as I looked up at him.

"You know that could really hurt a man's ego." He said in a low voice. Even though no one was in the room or anywhere near we still talked quietly, not wanting to disrupt the quietness around us.

"I guess, but I don't see a man around here." I said as I lifted my self up onto my elbows and looked around.

"Ughhhh." He said trying to look hurt and then laughing. He pulled me back down beside him and twirled my hair with his fingers. "How long have you been up?"

"About a half an hour. Maxie got up and is getting ready to leave, I just wanted to stay here and not get up." I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head back on his shoulder.

"I could certainly stay right here all day." He said he stretched. I could feel all the muscles in him tighten and then release.

"Are you sore from how you slept last night. You were almost sitting straight up, but earlier in the morning you finally laid down, I was afriad your neck was going to be hurting all day, but I didn't have the heart to wake you up." I said as I traced small circles on his side, causing him to shiver. He was really ticklish on his sides.

"No, it doesn't hurt to bad. Besides, it's not everyday you can say you slept in a bed with the Jones Sisters." He said wiggling his eye brows up and down.

"You are suck a perve." I said as I punched him in the stomach palyfully.

"You know I'm just juoking. All I cared about was you laying here beside me." He said looking more serious.

"Good one, loverboy!" Maxie said as she came down the stairs. "That was just SO original."

"Yea, I thought so. But you would know original right? I mean you did actually talk to Kyle when you went out. Because every word that came out of that boys mouth is so original, huh?" Dillon said as he tilted his head back to look at Maxie when she walked behind us towards the kitchen.

Maxie lightly patted Dillon's cheek as she passed. "HAHA, you are just like sooo funny." She said in a valley-girl voice fake laughing.

"Yea I kind of thought so." Dillon said as Maxie turned into the kitchen but stuck her head around the corner and stuck her tounge out at him.

"So where do you have to go before your class?" I asked as I sat up and ran my fingers through my hair. Dillon got up as well and helped me down off the bed. I swear I couldn't do much of anything without someone helping me stand up or doing this and that for me.

"I have to run to the book store by Kelly's and get some new books that we are going to have to read. Which reminds me." She said as she came back into the livingroom and looked at Dillon with her bottom lip sticking out like she was a lost puppy. "Can you take me there and to my class? My car is broke and mom and Mac aren't here."

"What will I get out of helping you besides you nagging me about how I drive." He said as we all started folding up the blankets we had used and got the livingroom back to normal.

"The satisfaction of knowing you helped me, and I will love you forever, unless you piss me off." She said carrying some pillows upstairs.

"Lucky me!" He yelled up to her.

"I know, so will you?" She asked as she ran back down the stairs.

"Sure." He said after a couple seconds, tying to make her squirm.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, you are a life saver. I really can't miss this class and I need these books bad. Are you going to come with us, Georgie?" She asked looking over at me.

"Yea sure, let me go change and do something with my hair. Give me ten minutes." I said as I went upstairs. I threw on one of my many maternity tank tops and a pair of Capri Jeans. I had to buy all new clothes once I got too big for the last one and was very happy when we found a store in the mall that had maternity clothes that were actually cute and very up-to-date with the kind of clothes I wore before. I pulled my hair up into a sloppy pony tail and dialed Mac's cell phone number.

"Mac Scorpio." He said sounding pretty busy.

"Hey, I just wanted to tell you that Dillon and I are taking Maxie to the book store and her class, and then we are going to pick her up when she is done. I just wanted to let you know so you don't flip out when we aren't here and think that Dillon has done something." I said letting him know that I knew he was kind of rediculous with his contempt with Dillon.

"Yea well you'd be suprised. And I know Dillon wouldn't do that." He said, his voice kind of lowering at his last statement as if he didn't want anyone to know that he had just admitted that. I myself was very suprised with what he said.

"Wow, well we are getting ready to leave. I don't know when we'll be back, we might go out to eat after Maxie gets out of class, I'll call and tell you if we do so you and mom don't make a huge dinner, ok?" I said as  iwalked back down the stairs, grabbed my purse and the three of us walked to the car.

"Ok, thanks for calling and you three be safe." He said. Up until now it was always me and Maxie, he never really said anything about Dillon. If this was what it sounded like I was praying that he was starting to really like Dillon.

"We will Dad." I had stated calling him that a lot more often. I don't know why I did, but for some reason I felt a lot more comfortable calling him that now than I ever did.
