Gigantic Sexy:
Rants and Raves
It certainly has been a long time without the GPW, hasn't it? But although it seemed as if the GPW was long since dead, we prove to you that there is Life after Death. Clever name for a big show isn't it? But when you think about it, it couldn't be more true. It has been over a year since the GPW wrestlers have been seen in action, but they are back, and in a big way. Ever seen a GPW show or tape? Well, you will be surprised to say the least when you see the changes that have occured since the summer of 2000. Bigger, stronger, and smarter superstars await their chance at stardom in the re-born GPW. And it should be great!

This show is shaping up to be huge, as there are already a few matches that have been signed. Who wouldn't want to see Skorpion and Extremist go at it one on one in a brawl for nothing but pride? These two will surely give it their all in their return to GPW action. And how about Rage and Matt Stryke going at it once again? This tremendous rematch of Dead End 2000 should be a slobberknocker indeed. And with the loser being forced to hang up the trunks for good, this one is even more interesting. It's hard to imagine the GPW without either of these superstars, but we will have to say goodbye to one of them come match time. The final match that has already been signed places the unstoppable team of DDD and Super Sycho, the current tag team champions, up against the unpredictable trio of X-Rated. This one will be fun to watch, as we are yet to know which two members will represent X-Rated. Either way, it will be a challenging defense for the experienced duo of DDD and Sycho, and it should be a match to remember!

Many are speculating as to the status of the main event, and although I have the inside scoop on the GPW happenings, I'm clueless as well. One thing is certain though, and that is that Immortal
will be seen in the main event, and his World Title belt will be on the line! Immortal is sure to be in for some trouble as well, as the majority of the locker room has some beef with him over this long period of no action for the GPW. Many feel he has abused his leading role, and that he is the cause of the downfall we have seen. We are currently unable to contact the GPW President, and he refuses to make any comments based on the show. Guess we'll just have to watch and see.

If you ask me, there are a couple of choice guys I would like to see duke it out with Immortal on the main event stage. Firstly, Havok is an easy choice. He still has plenty of unsettled business with Immortal, and with his name yet to be on the card, he is a likely choice for an opponent. It would be nice to see some closure to this feud, and possibly to see Havok walk away from
Life after Death as a 3 time World Champ. Besides him, however, the other likely choices would be DDD or Brick. Both of these studs have been working their way up the GPW rankings, and are craving that main event status. Both have been hanging around the mid-upper card, but niether have yet to main event a GPW show. It would be a pleasant surprise to see this happen for the first time, and both are highly capable of stripping Immortal of his gold. We'll find out soon enough though as the show is happening in just a few days!

In case you haven't realized yet, the GPW is back in a big way. Look for intense wrestling action to be occuring once again from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Also, you can expect a better kept website, with more updates, results, and pictures to satisfy your GPW cravings. Not only this, but you can soon expect to see newer, better produced GPW tapes for sale! These will be a far cry from the old tapes, as they will be more professional looking with graphics, music, and a cleaner look altogether. Look for
Life after Death to be released on GPW home video a few weeks after the show! So long till next week, and remember, GPW 4 life!
