BACK
A group of BMA Gunners in the '50s (most likely). At this period, they had been converted to the infantry role, though they continued to wear the Royal Artillery badge, and members continued to be eligible to join the Royal Artillery Association 'til the amalgamation with the Bermuda Rifles in 1965 to create the Bermuda Regiment ( in the '90's, the RAA approved Bermuda Regiment members to join the Association in an atempt to shore up the flagging ranks of the Bermuda Branch of the RAA).
The officer in khaki and peaked cap appears to be (then)
Captain D.H. 'Bob' Burns, MC, ex- of the Cameron Highlanders. The NCO in khaki appears to be a staff instructor on loan from a Regular Army regiment.
