THE ROYAL GAZETTE, 1 SEPTEMBER, 1914.
                                                                           BERMUDIANS TO THE FRONT.
A letter was received last mail in which it was stated that Edward Tucker son of Rev. Arthur Tucker, and Ewart Brown, son of Mr. V.O. Brown, both of St. George's, had volunteered to go to the front.
These two young men have been employed for some time with the Bank of Montreal at Saint John, N.B.
Mr. Tucker's services, we understand, has been accepted, and as a parting gift the Bank employees gave him a beautiful illuminated watch, at the same time wishing him the best of good luck.
