Where are we now?

Ok, enough with the nostalgia.  Yes, GPUN was a great place to work, we had tremendous leadership, great colleagues, and even the food in the cafeteria was great (all right, there are differing opinions on the last one, but mmmmm....taco day......).

Where did everyone go?  That is the focus of this page.  I'm going to fill in those whom I know, but I'm going to rely on all of you to help me - with your own current employment/retirement news, or someone else you know.  If you see that I've put you up on this page and you don't want to be there, just drop me a quick email and I'll remove you (in case you're in the Witness Protection Program or something) or change your info.

In any event, I won't put contact info in unless you explicitly tell me - please note that the {at} is there to fool spam bots - just replace with the @ if you want to email someone.

Adele Aboutok Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I'd like to be added to the where are we page of the GPUN site, but we are moving next week, so I don't know what my e-mail address will be. There is no Optimum service up in Sussex County.  I am now teaching Pilates at The Chatham Club on Southern Boulevard next to the Fairmount Golf Club in Chatham and will soon be teaching a couple days at Health and Body in Sparta as well. My new address will be 111 Andover-Mohawk Road, Andover, NJ 07821.

Bruce Alatary Commuting to the Bronx from Denville, wrapping up an electrical rehabilitation project on the Throgs Neck Bridge.
Patty Arcaro I am currently working with Mike Laggart at Enercon in Mt. Arlington. I would like to be added to the list when you send out updates. Mike had forwarded to me the one you just sent him. My husband and I now live in Mt. Olive and all 5 of my children are married and we have 5 grandchildren.

I started working with Mike a little over a year ago (part time). But, of course, just like the GPUN days, the part time went away and the more than full time took over :) But I really like the job and it's just like being back in GPU. We have Dennis Kelly, Clark Shrock, Barry Koblick and a bunch more from GPU.

Hi Tom,  Perry Carmel here from bright and sunny Arcadia, Florida, well in between the hurricanes anyway.  Thanks a lot for keeping everyone up to date on the GPUN News. Retirement is great but I may have to go back to work just to pay my damn health insurance or have First Energy send me a bill every month for what I owe them on my pension!  I was going to update the guestbook but it tells me it is full and the guy that takes care of it needs to do some work.  I keep in touch with Kuehn, Paynter, Holmes, Williams and the rest of the group that ended up at Saxton. Hope you are doing fine and tell everyone I said hello.
