LINK OVERLOAD!!! - BEWARE!
There I was one night, totally bored out of my skull - I'd browsed all my usual sites, and was sitting staring Google in the face, when i typed in something along the line of "TV Theme Tunes" - dunno why, to this day I'll never know - however, what I came up with i just couldn't believe
Out there on this information superhighway (which acts more like a blocked a-road most times) there are LOADS of sites with TV Themes on, bits of video, from old proggies, Test Cards, Idents, pictures of Transmitters and all sorts of other gubbins.
This is primarily a link page, as all the themes etc I have downloaded came from within the following sites - However, my collection, or a list thereof appears on the second page....

TV Cream - Dunno whether it is the original, but its the first one I came across - Themes, and loads of reminders about the stuff we used to watch, also stuff about Radio (its even got clips of Bruno Brookes dammit! - Maybe Video didn't kill the Radio Star afterall.....)
TV and Movie Theme Archive - Good Site, seems to be under redevelopment at the moment, More TV themes, some Movie Stuff as well, and, where possible, links to BlackStar video where you can get most of the old TV on Vid or DVD!
Ulysses 31 - Yup...hes still soaring through all the galaxies - One of a few (literally) Ulysses 31 Sites
TV ARK - Presentation Archive - WTF I hear you ask! - Remember the old Sky One Ident ("This is Sky One, a part of the British Sky Broadcasting Network") and the old BBC Blue Globe, well, they're all here!

PowerSheep's Cities Of Gold Page - Yup, everything you ever needed to know (or didn't) about the MCOG, links to places to download the episodes - or even get them in DixX ;) Format on CD
KNIGHTMARE - Woohoo! - one of literally a handful of sites - This was the only thing worth watching on Friday afternoon CITV! - all sorts of info from the people who worked on the program, and a petition to get it back on our screens! - All together now...."Spellcasting...R...E...T..U...R..N" (or something like that)
Mike Browns MB21 Site - Transmitter Pics and info, and info about old Radio (and some TV) - Includes the full story of the Elmley Moor Transmitter (it fell down in 1960-something if you didn't know!) amongst other things - but a good site nonetheless.
I Remember That! - Quite good page - not a lot of programmes listed, but some of them are some of the harder to get hold of ones!
Watched IT! - Loads of links to pages relating to old TV Proggies!
