CUNNING LINKS
A Place for the links I couldn't find a home for, plus a selection from my own Favourites (or BookMarks, if you are a Netscaper)
Radio Voyager - A Station on WorldSpace, but as I've not got my WorldSpace stuff set up properly at the mo - I sometimes listen via the 'net.
BT Online Phone Directory - Just thought i'd pop this in here - think the title says it all really!
McBurgers.com - How to make McDonalds burgers in your own home - using your own ingredients - if you actually want to.....
The 'Hello World' Page - Yup, we've all seen these - whenever you start programming, the first one they ALWAYS teach you is how to print 'Hello World' on the screen, this is normally something like:
10 CLS
20 PRINT "Hello World"
in BASIC or:
#include <iostream.h>
int main ()
{
cout << "Hello World\n";
return 0;
}
in C++ - but the link above will tell you how to write the most basic piece of code out, in any language of your choice!
Nitpickers.com - If you watch American Pie - do you know that scene early on in the party, the one where Jason Biggs walks towards Nadia - you notice how he trips over a table (wasn't supposed to) and that theres a mike boom visible just through the door and that theres a stagehand walking past in the background ? - No ?? - well thats not on this site (well it may be) - but i spotted it, and plus its on the commentary on the DVD ! - Anyway this site is full of people who find continuity errors in films, and all sorts of historical errors etc - go take a look!
The Synchronicity Archive - this is an odd one - Do you know, if you play the "Wizard of Oz" and Dark Side of the Mood, by Pink Floyd at the same time, parts of the film match words on the album - Synchronicity, apparently.. I know someone who can verify this fact - something that i intend to at some point (anyone got Wizard of oz on DVD ?;))
This site is full of odd things like that - like if you play Fantasia with some other Floyd Album, it all matches - are these people just bored, or is it something too weird to explain ???
kissthisguy.com - One of many of those sites that do say "yes - he did say f**k" during that chorus - Named after a lyric in a Jimi Hendrix tune (Liam, please tell me i've forgotten) - find all those misheard lyrics here.
