| (A.) GPSEA membership shall consist of persons from within and outside of the fire protection services whose goals and objective include, but are not limited to, the prevention of fires, the prevention of fire related injuries, to reduce trauma and death due to unintentional injuries, the reduction of losses from fire and it's associated hazards where prevention efforts may fail. (B.) Membership is voluntary, however, persons desiring membership shall complete an application for membership and shall agree to abide by the GPSEA bylaws. (Bylaws may be accessed @ www.geocities.com/gpsea2001, or you may call one of the association officers to have a copy mailed to you. Membership dues are $10.00. Members must attend at least three GPSEA meetings during the election year, which shall be from August to August, of even years, to be consideted a member in good standing. A member must be in good standing to qualify to hold office and or to vote in elections. |
