A couple were having marital prob-
lems. They decided together to do
the right thing and they contacted
a marriage guidance counsellor.
Several visits followed when lots of questions were
asked and lots of listening carried out. Eventually
the counsellor felt that he had discovered the main
problem. He stood up, went over to the women and
asking her to stand up he gave her a huge cuddle.
He turned to the husband and said, 'This is what your
wife needs, at least once every day.'
The husband frowned, considered what had been
said for a moment, then replied, 'Ok fine, what time do you want me to bring her back tomorrow?'

Boy you sure are creative. Everytime I think you created
your best issue yet you always seems to top it.
I always wonder what you'll do next.
You must have the market cornered by now with all
your different Marilyn Monroe pics. I was never that crazy
about her until I started seeing all the great variety of
pictures that you have. If you would have put all those
pictures up at once or even alot at one time I don't think
it  would have had the same effect. It's a good thing that
your not an interrogator. We would all be salivating when
you ran the bell.
I went to Bob Hipsley's memorial service. It was very
nice. His band played and his children spoke. Terry
Collins words were high praise. I'm sure they helped
Bob's family alot. I didn't get to stay though. That ride
was a little to far for me to go.
I saw that you signed Bob's guest book. That's great.
I wish more people realized how great that can be for
the family, especially if its a story. To most of the family
that's a side of their love one's they never knew and it
really seems to stay with them long afterwards. It is hard
to get people to open up. They wonder about what's
proper.
My mother was an exceptionally positive person, to a
fault actually. When she was on oxygen, the container
would be empty and she would be turning purple. We
would yell to her, "mom do you have oxygen" and she
would always say, "Yes, I'm fine". After a few times, we
knew we had to check. She always got a big laugh out
of it. She always said it 10 kids didn't kill her nothing would. She was almost right.
Anyway, keep up the good work and remember I always available to help, if you need it.        ~ Rick McElroy

RAGS comment to Rick McElroy. . . Thanks for the kind
words and informative message . .
~.Good reading.
We had a problem with my mother's guest book. They
reviewed my message and didn't think it was appro-
priate. In it my brothers and sisters were all laughing
and asking my mother if she had enough oxygen. Once
I explained to the reviewers that was a family joke, which
my mother enjoyed the most, they posted it.
NOTE: from Florida . . . Mel Call
Hi Dick, Hope all is well with you and your family.  I am
informed by my son that MD is still very cold.  The
weather here in beautiful Florida is sunny and in the low
70's.  I am planning once again to come up in March and
wanted to check with you that the breakfast in March will
be on the 20th.  Before I book a flight will you please let
me know because I always look forward to see as many
friends at the breakfast as possible.
My family is fine and we just came back from a great
cruise to Greece, Turkey, and southern Italy.  Please
give my regards to the Hasbeens and I would like to
take this opportunity to wish everyone a Healthy and
Happy New Year.  Take care and please let me know
about the 20th of March at Rip's.
