Now you know . . .
What is the GPO trying to prove here?
~ It appears the GPO management has far too
many aspiring clerical workers that want to make
a needed impression to justify their own position.
I have been informed of the latest boondoggle
where these non-craft clerks want to implement a
bonus pay procedure directed to Unions who hold
exclusive recognition. This illegal procedure
overlooks the Federal enforced guidelines
established by law.
. . . a GPO Collectible
A brief example of just what they want is to establish a Performance Award System applied frequently which gives cash payments to employees based upon the employees rating record. It appears the monies come from overhead profits? Need to tell them have a Wage Committee.
My impression of this reads that if you pick more cotton then the other fellow you will be given material to make your own blanket. ~ Talk about strengthening employee-management relations.
I sure hope the combined crafts do not throw away their recognized craft bargaining powers succumbing to the hands of aspiring third graders who want to graduate!
In past years our Union has made outstanding
gains in working conditions & employee benefits?
Lets not lose those to pressure.   ~~  RAGS
