There is a lot of good music sampled in Beck's songs, and my quest is over for now. I searched for 2 years and found several wonderful songs. Enjoy them if you ever find the records! |

| 01/23/06 - Where It's At- found 3 new samples on one song.? For years I wondered who was saying "the,the,the,the rock", "coast to coast", and "rock the most" on the song Where It's At. All Three elements/samples come from a song called "Coast to Coast" by Word of Mouth (featuring D.J. Cheese). The lyrics "coast to coast" are sampled directly under Beck singing"...passing the dutchie from coast to coast" |
| 08/25/06 - Wow It's Been a While since the last update. I know I must have at least 2 fans of this site. Anyhow while sorting through sound files of the legendary hip- hop- record drum break boot-leg series Ultimate Breaks and Beats, I came across the drum beat used in Beercan. Just go to the Beercan page. With 100 songs in the original Ultimate Breaks collection, the Dust Brothers have sampled at least 20 of the songs in their productions, so cross-referencing wasn't too hard. Still haven't bothered to look for samples in Guero, and probably won't find any in The Information. Made pages for Guero album. |

| 09/07/06 - There is a tiny sample (element) used in the ending of Hotwax over the Monk Higgins sample. It sounds like horns, but it is a stringed instrument playing the same two notes over and over. Look at the hotwax page! |
