There's this long, interesting story of a mysterious arcade game from 1981 called Polybius. Some people say it's a hoax or an urban legend, and some people believe that it existed. It was rumored to cause seizures, memory loss, and other problems within the people who played it. There is a ton of stuff all over the internet on this subject, but I figure the best place to start your research is here. This site was made by my dear friend Cher. We have both spent a ridiculous amount of time on this subject, and the majority of our research is on her site.
Giving the Government the benefit of the doubt (which I rarely do), I'm going to pretend that the voting ability that we're all legally given might actually work, if we vote for someone other than the two men with the most money.
