2006 Quarterly Texas Hold Em Champions
First Quarter (Shuffle up and deal!)

1st Giancarlo Penninella
2nd Enrico Obien
3rd Tim Weston
Poker highlight: Carlo's bluff with a 200 with a potential on the board against Sal's pocket Aces.  Sal made the gutsy call to win a big pot as Carlo showed he had nothing.

Second Quarter (GP's B-day)

1st Giancarlo Penninella
2nd Paul Dow
3rd Marty Colberg
Poker highlight: The slow play on Giancarlo's full house on the flop, allowing Jason to catch his flush which crippled him to being on the brink of going out.

Third Quarter (Marty's Revenge)

1st Marty Colberg
2nd Giancarlo Penninella
3rd Ron Weston
Poker Highlight:  The 4 way all in with Giancarlo holding 8-7 and the flop being 7-7-Q.  The others all in were Marty, Christine, and Carlo.  On the showdown Marty had a K-Q, Christine had a Q-J, and Carlo didn't hit the board.  At the turn Giancarlo looked like he was going to take a huge pot as both Marty and Christine had only one possible out between the two of them and at the river, the Queen showed up causing Marty to get a huge profit since he had the chip lead, but splitting some of the winnings with Christine.  This allowed Marty to bully the rest of the players for the remainder of the game.

Fourth Quarter (The Hat Trick)

1st. Giancarlo Penninella
2nd Dan Hendrickson
3rd Denny Weston
4th Ron Weston*
Poker Highlight:  Giancarlo getting the fastest player to eliminate another player when he went all in on the very first hand with pocket Aces.  Pablo called him with pocket Jacks and Giancarlo spent the rest of the evening apologizing to Pablo since he was the first one elimanated.
