Information Management

Giving clients credibility in the eyes of executives by enabling them to present high quality and meaningful tangible resources.  Seeking information on information architecture, information science or brokerage, reports analysis, or related occupations.  Curious to learn about computer-based training and computerized electronic books that allows access to formulas, explanations, data, and diagrams for use in analyses and presentations.

Supportive at listening and answering questions perceptively by clarifying, eliminating distractions, and repeating statements to confirm accuracy

Effective at chairing and/or facilitating group discussion regarding plans and scopes

Business planning and scoping. Contributed to the establishment of an organization and human resources development consulting partnership by facilitating the iterative resource planning process.

Organization facilitated mentoring research.  Communicated findings to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Arizona State Conservationist and Civil Rights Council members outlining concerns, recommendations, and a list of benchmark contacts regarding in-house mentoring program development.

Unique at experimenting with new approaches after benchmarking resources and comparing results

Employee with disability accommodation.  Advised the USDA-NRCS Arizona Leadership Team and the State Conservationist on accommodating a low-vision field office employee to use a personal computer in a field office.

Seminar presentation and content development.  Assisted the development and presentation of a professional development seminar at The Buttes Resort in Phoenix entitled The Mentoring Advantage.

Excel at functioning as an information broker by gathering data from a variety of sources, including the Internet

Library catalog software product information search.  Investigated a number of Internet sites and consulted with university professional librarians to gather organization computer-based catalog options.  These options would enable individuals in central and field offices to search for printed resources available in the organization.

Employees with disability program management. At least twenty-one individual contacts were developed within three months among program managers, associations, rehabilitation service agencies, university and college career counselors, and professional associations.

Internet tools.  Accessed the Internet using Microsoft (MS) Internet Explorer and communicated by electronic mail and facsimile using MS Outlook Express in the MS Windows computer environment.  Familiar with McAfee VirusScan, Privacy Corporation BOClean, and PGP electronic mail encryption and authentication software.

Competent at deriving computer software applications from other people’s ideas or technical resources

Software file developments. Developed Party and Business Budget MS Excel Workbook file, a twelve-month historical or plan budget tool complete with computations, tables, and graphs. · Developed documents using MS Word · presentations using MS PowerPoint and SPC Software Publishing Harvard Graphics · mathematical and data analyses using MathSoft Mathcad · schedule and resource analyses using Primavera SureTrak Project Manager and MS Project Manager. · observed applications of a geographic information system · and observed applications of a speech recognition dictation software.

 

Certifications.  MS Office Excel 2000 Specialist, administered by Robert Half International, Inc. · Engineer-In-Training (EIT), State of Colorado.
