My Desire: What I wanted to accomplish

To assist in the development and presentation of a human and organization development firm seminar entitled The Mentoring Advantage.  The seminar was to be held at a professional gala and seminar event organized by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

What I did step-by-step

Initiated the contact between the firm and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Assisted the primary speaker in developing the presentation format and content organization.

Developed graphics and slides using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint computer software.

Co-presented the seminar by managing the overhead transparencies and projector operation and by providing closing testimony regarding the value of professional mentoring.

Description of the result

High level of audience participation.

Recognition of professional mentorship process value during the keynote speech by an AlliedSignal Corporation Vice President.
