My Desire: What I wanted to accomplish |
Contribute
to the establishment of a consulting partnership by implementing the resource
planning process. The partnership consisted of four individuals other
than me. Three individuals had experience with employment in national
and/or international corporations. They included a former sales
director, a technical director, and a former employee development
specialist. The fourth individual was a public education consultant. The iterative resource planning process can be
described in three global categories of defining problems and quantifying
objectives, selecting alternatives, and implementing and monitoring the
plan. The first category consists of four broad activities, the second
consist of three broad activities, and the last category consists of two broad
activities. |

What I did step-by-step |
Facilitated
group discussion by diagramming, asking questions, and describing the
benefits and components of the resource planning process. Developed forms and documentation to facilitate the
resource planning process by using Microsoft Word computer software. Customized and adapted the planning process model
to fit the organizational and human resource development industry. |

Became an active participant and contributor in
developing and planning the consulting organization. Expanded
the base of skills and services provided to the organization. |
