Family Reunion Vacation!
Hi Family!

I have an exciting announcement!  Planning is under way for a family reunion vacation for the summer of 2008!  I know it's a long time away, but I want you to have plenty of time to save up and to clear your calendars!!!

We have some great options for our vacation.  Take a look below at some of the ideas, then head over to fill out the questionnaire, even if you're not sure if you can come yet!!

Please also look over the invitee list and let me know who I missed and who else you would like to include!

There's a guestbook here too, which can us keep us all in touch with each other.  Take advantage!

I'll be in contact with the results of the survey in a week or two!!

Pro's:

. Probably the most economical lodging option
. Most "together time" option
. Can accommodate different budgets by renting both luxurious and budget homes in the same area.
. Use of private pool, jacuzzi, rec room, etc.
. Parents can still hang out after young kids are tucked into bed
. Most meals cooked at home, so less expensive
. Those who prefer to use a hotel can still do so

Con's:

. Need to commit to a common length of stay
. Have to cook (groups would take 1 night each)
. Less privacy within the house
. To keep costs down, some will be on futons and/or be sharing rooms
. Planning is a little harder -  will need to divide everyone into houses and figure out finances
