Gowarty Enterprises Exceeds First Quarter Expectations

Announces Quarterly Results for period ending October 2, 2002

Boyds, MD, October 2, 2002 -- Gowarty Enterprises, Inc., a leading provider of smiles and smelly diapers, today announced results for the First Quarter of Alex Gowarty's life.

Gowarty Enterprises exceeded analyst expectations by announcing their new product addition, Alex Gowarty, is now 25 3/4 inches long. This result exceeded industry consensus of 24 1/4 to 25 inches. In addition, Gowarty tips the scale at 16 pounds, 1 ounce, which beat expectations by 6 ounces.

"I am very pleased with the results of Gowarty Enterprises," said Alex Gowarty, CEO and new boss of the house. "It's not often such growth can occur in the first quarter. We are thrilled to have grown over 22.6% in length" Gowarty added.

"It's been a wonderful first 3 months of my life" Gowarty added. "It's been everything and more than I expected. Of course, everything hasn't been perfect so far in my tenure," Gowarty conceded , "during the first 90 days or so, it was such a tough job, my hairline was receding. I'm glad to report that it's starting to come back in now and by 1Q03, I expect to have a full head of hair while maintaining our strong growth projections."

"I couldn't have done it alone," Gowarty added, "I have a strong support team behind me. If it wasn't for mom and dad, I would be wearing smelly diapers all of the time and who can respect a CEO with a smelly diaper?" Gowarty joked.

Gowarty Enterprises, Inc., is looking for a strong second quarter with growth projections in the 10-15% range.
