Sited in 2002 March-Oct
Fish traps are laid strategically along the canal and are monitored weekly. Marine life found is examined, documented, and catalogued. Each new species found is documented. Fish are carefully handled during examination by trained volunteered. They are placed in a special handling tank, and than are released.
