| Harry Watts attended the first state school, between Portsea and Sorrento. Harry assisted his father to extend Ocean Beach Road in the 1880's to carry the steam tramway and general traffic. In 1890 George Coppin formed a company to operate the tramway system and Henry worked for them for 25 years. After the demise of the steam trams Henry became a general contractor. He was a member of the masonic lodge, a member of the gun club and was also a member of the local militia. |
