Thomas and Petronell had 10 children Susannah - born 1769 Petronell - born 1771 John - born 1772 Thomas - born 1774 - Thomas's grandson Thomas was to emigrate to Canada in the 1870's William - born 1777 Jane - born 1779 George - born 1781 James - born 1784 married Ann Hellins in 1809 at Heanton Punchardon, they had seven children including John Hellins Ellizabeth - born 1786 Henry - born 1790 |

| John Francis Watts was the son of John Hellins Watts and Maria Wybron. John and Maria were farmers and lived at Chichecott Farm, a 130 acre farm, near Okehampton in Devon. There were some 11 children Mary Ann - born 1833 - married William Furse - Seed Dealer and Basket Maker John Francis - born 1838 James - born 1841 - married Martha - he was a Police Constable Elizabeth - born 1843 - married William Johns - a carpenter Samuel Hellins - born 1845 - married Elizabeth Bryant, he was a prison officer and later a shoe maker Jane - born 1847 Joshua - born 1849 - married Grace Ward and lived at Barton Barn Farm Thomas - born 1851 Mathew - born 1853 - married Mary Gardiner and was a forage merchant Henry - born 1855 (was later to emigrate to Australia with his wife Susan and daughter Mabel on board the "Arabic" in December 1886 Martha - born 1858 |
