This year in Hawaii, there has been 7 murders, 175 rapes, 646 robberies, 676 aggravated assaults, 4,670 burglaries, 19,547 larcenies, and 5,025 auto thefts, making a grand total of 30,746 crimes committed.Of those crimes, 1,504 were violent, and 29,242 of them were property violations. The murder rate went down 22.2%, rape went down 4.4%, robbery went up 14.1%aggravated assault went up 8.3%, burglary wnet down 8.1%, larceny went down 8.3%, and auto theft went down 5.3%, making the toatl number of crimes go down 5.3% since last year. Also this year, Hawaii's property crime rate is teh third highest in teh nation.
