Hawaii is known for its tropical climate, but surprisingly enough, the weather can change very quickly and in very short distances. The summer temperatures which are between May and October, are warmerand drier, with the hottest being in August. The coolest months are February in March. The temperature has fallen to 15 C on the coast. The climate is also influenced by the mountains. The higher the mountains, the higher the extreme. The climate changes 2 C for every 1000 ft, and the highest mountains have snow on them and are constantly below zero. From October to July, Hawaii usually gets a cyclone once in a while, even though the cyclone season ends in january.Sea temperatures can vary from a high 27 C in the summer all the way down to a low 23C in the winter.
