Bekah and I met in May of 2002 through some mutual friends at a local Country Dance Club called Cotton Eye Joe's. Though we didn't talk much that night we ended up getting the chance to talk more a couple of nights later at her apartment during a small party she was having. That night we talked for hours and we have been talking ever since. There was an immediate connenction between the two of us and we slowly began moving towards a relationship. I left to go work in Philadelphia during the summer of 2003 and I asked Bekah to marry me during a family vacation at Smith Mt. Lake, VA when I got back. We will be moving to Raleigh, NC after the wedding where I will begin working for NC State. Bekah is currently looking at employment and hopes to find something soon. |
