Acrylic on gesso on paper on panel. 15 November 1980. 18 1/8 x 24 1/4." Private Collection. As in the preceding work, opaque pigments set off transparent. Here the forms seem to emerge from their environment and assert themselves as curved and angular forms. The base of these forms recede into the background forming an interlocked alpine-like scene.
