Yup got more books to do a little blip about. As in previous posts on books read...I will not give a great deal away on the books. Anyone like me does not like to have the story spoiled so I try not to say a great deal. If I write them down here I Did like them.
1)Gideon by Jacquelyn Frank. This is a second in a series for this author. In it the main characters are night walkers/demons and all take on biblical names to protect their real names that hold power over them. In this one the story is focused on Gideon and his destined mate Magdalegna. He is the oldest of them and a healer. In this one they are trying to figure out a plan to kill anothers mate ( this pair was the focus of the First book called Jacob). This one brings in vamps and shapeshifters so could mean future books have more of them in them as well. Very good book. Liked the first too. Both are well worth reading.
2) Kiss of Fire by Deborah Cooke. This is a first time reading from this author. It is a Dragon book and the start of a series called the Dragonfire novels. I really enjoyed this one and plan to get the next installment when it comes out. Here they are 2 groups of these dragon shifters and a war of sorts to stop a predestined prophecy from happening. Of course can figure out one group is the good Dragons and one the bad. You will have to read it for yourself to see how things pan out for the Smith and the Seer and to find out about the haunted air conditioner.
3) Highland Thirst which is 2 mini novels of Blood Feud by Hannah Howell and The Capture by Lynsay Sands. This is one of several books by this pairing of authors. They are vamp books and tied closely together. In the novesl each tells the story of one of 2 cousins during their capture and torture then escape of from their different captors. Also of the loves that grow during their ordeals. As is the case of the previous co authored novels with these vamp stories both were really good.
