Books Read

I have 2 more books down. AM Almost on track for the reading 2 books a week.

Just finished the book called The Dragon Hour by Connie Flynn the other day. I had never read anything by this author but really enjoyed it. It came out in 2000 and was a used book store find. This one has time travel/alt realities on play and well per the title you prob figured out has a dragon too. The hero is tossed from being a theif in New York to being hailed as a legendary returned dragon slayer in old Scotland. One of the catches this 'dragon slayer' does not know how to shoot a gun, wield a sword, ride a horse and oh yeah he does not Want to kill the dragon. Was a really cute storyline.

The other book I recently finished was One Bite Stand by Nina Bangs. Now I have read many of her books over the years and always love them. There is a common thread in the books of a pair of 'cosmic trouble makers' that love to cause... well trouble. Sparkle Stardust and Ganymede who is most often a Cat, just loves to pair up very unlikely couples and watch how it unfolds despite their fighting against it the entire way. In this one a Harpy that is not very Harpylike and an old Vamp are her 'victoms' . Toss in some other odd guests like a wererabbit and visits from the 'ice cream man' at the paranomal Woo Woo Inn and an ancient Werewolf that is trapped beneath a church waiting the chance to be free to end the world and well you have another great humor filled page turner told only the way Nina Bangs can.

As usual wont give too much of the stories away so that anyone that find one to be of possible interest for themselves wont feel they dont need to read it cause I spoiled the story entirely for them. Happy reading everyone.
