My little Lincoln Hog is 1 year old today. Yes I am a little nutty but since he IS a pig and no doubt had no clue it was a milestone for him there was no big tado or anything. He got extra scritches and some carrots and time out of his pen for some grazing but otherwise regular day for my sweet piggy.

Attached is a group of pictures I have taken over the last year. I got him when he was only 3 weeks old so have had him for much of this past year. Have a few pics of his with his toy or my poodle Payton or even of me holding him at diff times to show how he grew. He is still not very big but huge compared to how TEEENY he was when I brought him home.

He is still a good boy too. He broke out of his pen a week ago and when I pulled up and stopped at the edge of the yard as I always do to roll down the window and say Hey. He was NOT there. At first I was afraid he was gone. But when I got out of the truck and looked he had gone as far as the chicken coop and was eatting some grass. I called him and he came running and grunting his hello and got right back in his pen. Was not fun to re attach the chicken wire with him trying to push his nose through it to get to me while I was trying to use a staple gun on the wood beams and not his Nose. But got it back together. Good part was knowing if he does get out again chances of him running away are not too high.

At any rate ... Was a Happy Piggy day for my baby.
