Got 2 books read so far this year. Both were good too. I think I will post about the books I read this year on a regular basis. At least those I really enjoy (could still be a lot of books read entries).

First was Dead Sexy by Amanda Ashley. Mandys vamp/paranomal books are great. They are always a fast read...not in being too short but in that they have great characters and keep your interest. (at least for me that is very true) This one has the romance and also some suspense with the vamps and werewolves and their fighting over old issues as well as the lead female in the book. The start over mysterious murders just grows and draws you in. It is set in the near future where vamps are sorta housed in one area to prevent them from causing harm.

The second was Dance of the Gods by Nora Roberts. This is the 2nd book in The Circle Trilogy. This one is romancish (I know that is not an actual word) but has more in the lines of the suspense/horror like quality to it. This one continues right where the first book left off and am sure the 3rd book will do the same. Here the book is packed with vamps, wizards, witches and shape shifters. This series is set in the present/past and even an alternate dimension but is still easy to follow despite how it may sound.

I enjoyed both books. Dont want to say too much about them so as to not give much of the stories away. I like to read that part for myself so assume most others would too if they picked up the books at any point to read.
