I had to post a couple pictures of my cat Clark. He has gotta be one of the oddest ones I have ever had. I really think that He thinks he is a Dog and not a cat despite my son having 2 cats he pals around with as much as my two old pups.
The pictures posted Are him in dog sweaters. No I did not have to fight with him to get them on him. (the one picture Clark is lounging on the bed with my old dogs Payton and Paisley)
Here is how it started. Clark is a fussy boy at night sometimes when it is time for bed and I am ready to go to sleep but he is not. There is much nose thumping and whining (him whining and thumping MY nose) So one night he was mewing and whining and such....so I finally snatched him up and took my fleece blanket and wrapped him in it. Started at one corner and sorta just Rolled him up. Looked like a Taco...been callin him Taco Kitty often since. Well not only did he LET me do this but he stopped fussing and even PURRED. I was then no longer sleepy just from laughing.
A couple more weeks went by of this and it seemed he was fussin now Just to be put in the blanket. BUT when I did ...it also meant I had to sit and hold him indefinitely.... This was not working despite being darn cute. So I finally one night after putting the dogs sweaters on them....(was gonna be colder that night)...figured well what harm can it bring? I grabbed up one of Paisleys since hers are a little smaller and sure enough...no fight at all..just pulled over his head and guided his arms in and he PURRED. He struts around the house and naps in them.
I had even gotten him a T shirt for Christmas that said I Ate Santas Cookies on the back... and he Did wear it for hours but was a tad too big and eventually he walked out of it. May still try and get a picture of him in it.
Is this ODD cat behavior? Does anyone else have a cat that appears to LIKE wearing clothing and being swaddled like a baby? I have seen pictures on greeting cards and such of cats in different outfits but always figured was PC generated or done with great effort and fuss just to snap a quick picture. Must Not be the case cause I cant believe Clark is the Only one out there like this.
