Most folks collect one thing is not several things. There are some that say what a person collects will tell you a great deal about them but I am not sure on that note. The things I collect dont all go together or anything so what on Earth would that mean?

Ok lets see I have a few different things I have collections of.

1) I have a small collection of Crackle glass. All but a couple are tiny water pitchers and tiny vases. The other few pieces are pitchers and vases but more regular in size. Crackle glass is made when the piece is submerged in cold water while it is still hot from being made. This causes the piece to form a network of cracks from the base upward. Why it does not crack apart right then I really could not say. They come in many colors. Most of the ones I have are pretty old. Not Quite antique since something is supposed to be 100 years or over to be a Real antique. I started to get them in the early 80s and most that I have an idea of when they were made are from the 40-50s ish time period. Oh and NEVER drop one on a hard surface cause ....um all those tiny cracks ....well it sorta just bursts ALL OVER. (sadly I found this out with my only really big piece that was a large wine jug in shades of orange... I found parts of it for MONTHS)

2)I have another small collection but this one is Teapots. At least here was started cause I actually Like tea..hot tea in particular. I have everything from tiny tiny ones to fully sized functional ones. I even have some that have tea sets on the lid so is a tea pot on a tea pot? giggle. The tiny ones are in my room on a shelf and the mid sized ones are over the fridge and other places in the kitchen..and well the functional ones are well used for making Tea of all things.

3)Last collection I have is of Giraffes. I have loved them since I was a tiny kid. I got my first one when I was only a few years old...mom had saved it back from me was a gift shop buy at the San Diego Zoo many moons ago. I have Mostly stuffed ones in various sizes from tiny teeny beanie baby size to some 12-15" tall. I have one that walks and dips its neck down and runs on batteries. I have several others that are figurines and glass. Then I have some Different giraffe things. I friend gave me a giraffe crossing sign last year that was very different from what I had already. Lets see oh I have a giraffe baseball hat, giraffe bobble head and many giraffe Christmas ornaments. I even have a toothbrush with a giraffe on it...no I dont use it ...is still in the wrapper.

SO does that really tell you anything about me? That I like things that are already Mostly broken? That I like Tea or that I Envy a Tall animal being that I am a shorty myself?
