Happy Easter!

Hope Everyone Has A Wonderful Holiday!

 

 

 

We need to try to have the baskets done by April 13th or 14^th

Please let me know what type of basket you will be doing, so we can have some variety.

 

So far, I have heard from the following . . . .

 

Gwen - Gardening, Cooking, Kids Crafts

Amy K. – Avon

Lori – Hospital

Bonnie & Sheri - Happy Feet

Cindy - Fun In The Sun

Cindy - Candle Basket

Natasha - Spring Basket

Gloria - Colts Championship Basket

Gloria - 'Beary' Yummy Basket

 

We have got to get this part of our Carnival Organized, so we can start selling tickets by next weekend.

 

The raffle brings in the most money, so please try hard to complete at least one basket.

Feel free to ask for donations from local businesses.

The more we have, the better we do!

 

Possible basket themes:  Golfing, Dinner & A Movie, Spa, Tanning, Family Fun, Day At The Races, Sports, Zoo, Poker

 

We need kids and adult baskets

 

We want to have a family event, so we need to have something for everyone!

 

I know a few people who have been managing to get some pretty nice donations!

Don't be to shy to ask, the worse anyone can do is say 'no'.  You might be surprised at the response.

If you have volunteered to ask for donations, please let us know what you have, so we can find baskets for them to go in.

If we all work together, we should be able to put together some pretty nice baskets!

 

If it looks like we are not going to have enough baskets, I will need to have some volunteers to help me work on getting donations and putting together some baskets this coming weekend.  If you would like to help, please let me know.  Thanks!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, unlike I had hoped, we had very little, or should I say ‘NO’ interest in the Princess contest outside of the Booster Club members.

 

So, it looks like we are going to have to work extra hard to raise the funds we need.

Let’s try for each child to raise at least $30.

 

I am not sure why we can not get anyone interested in helping support our group.

I really feel like the kids were interested, but the parents were not.

That is very unfortunate, because if you don’t participate you can’t be a princess!

 

I will try to make some hand-outs to let the kids know that they still have some time to participate.

 

 

There will be plenty to do at the carnival

Please let me know if you do not plan to attend or if you would rather not help.

If you choose not to help, that is up to you, I just need to know ahead of time.

 

In the two weeks prior to the carnival, there will be a lot of loose ends to tie up.  So, if you would really like to apply your time to helping get everything ready, please do not hesitate to volunteer to do just that!

 

 

I thought it might be fun to have music and an area to dance at the carnival.

If you know a DJ, or someone who has the equipment to provide music for the carnival, please let me know.  I have a lead, but not sure if it will work out.  So, I need back-ups.

As I mentioned earlier, it is a free website, so we can’t expect much. And it is under construction.

 

Just in case you wondered - If you are looking at the competition results, you can get this information by double clicking on the star next to the desired competition.

 

At this time, I have only entered the Statewide competition results.  I will get busy working on the rest.  I have to go back through my programs and see what every routine got.  If you see a mistake, please let me know.  I can assure you it wasn’t intentional, and I will gladly fix it!

 

I am still working on a way we can share pics, and that way I can use them on the site also.

 

I will not be using last names for the children’s safety!
