My name is Lynsey Brown. I am 16 years old, I am from Ardmore, Oklahoma, and I am a student in the Upward Bound Program. This is my first year at Upward Bound and this is also the first time I have had to meet a lot of people at one time. So far the program is wonderful and I am having a great time!
I come from a pretty large family, which can be great at times and also be a hassle! I love being with my friends, I personally believe that I am at my best when I am with my best friend, and we are just hangin out doin our own lil thing. Not that I don't love my family or enjoy being with them, its just that I feel like I can be myself when I am with my friends, that is probably why I would say that being with my friends is my favorite thing to do of all! My best friend is Beth Buckaloo, there is no one else in the world that I would trust with my life then her!
So far, my greatest accomplishment that I can think of is being accepted to Upward Bound! I am really excited about being in the program and I am proud of myself for being chosen to attend. I have received many different awards throughout my scholastic year, and I am still receiving them. My momma and daddy are so proud!
