| 9/12/07: If you've come this far then you know that this is Patrick Tabor's clever pseudonym for his post- Creepy Marbles solo output. Available now on Gotohawaii is his first solo effort, entitled simply: "It's... Bork". From countrified musings on domestic violence on "Baby it's all your fault" and the wistful post-dream pop of "It isn't Time", the seven-song EP recorded in Patrick's dank Moss Beach, California bedroom attempts to reconcile the oftentimes bipolar musical output of the A.D.D. afflicted artist with merely a bass, guitar, MIDI keyboard and a voice described by fans as "Alright" and "Decent". 11/19/07: After a brief period of musical stagnation, more material has been recorded for the new album by the Bork entitled simply Bork II. The album is centered around synths, piano, bass and acoustic and electric guitar and is far superior to the previous Bork outing. With songs like "Ordinary Life" and "Will I Ever See the Sun again?" Bork jumps from synthy post-punk to thoughtful piano numbers with bursts of powerful fuzzed-out guitar salvos. The nearly 8-minute instrumental "Too bad" lies somewhere in between shoegaze and stoner rock and 3 minute-long semi-songs go from glitch punk to drunken guitarring without warning. Despite these many disparate influences this album is far more cohesive than It's... Bork, and is sure to fly off non-existent shelves at an indeterminate point in the near? future.
