1.Where Do I get Flash(HM05)?

To get FLASH, while in Vermillion City, go through Diglet's
Tunnel and get out through the other end. Go south, and
CUT the tree you find there. Continue down, and go in the
house you see. A man in there will give you FLASH if you
meet his requirements.

2.Where is The Elite Four?

To get to the Elite Four, go west of Viridian City and into
the building you see. You need to have all the badges.
When you go though the building, people will check you to
see if you have the badge they correspond to. If you do, you
can pass. When you get past all eight, you go through
Champion Road. Get past Champion Road, and you will
come across another building, which houses the Elite Four.

5.How do I get Myuu/Mew in the English Version?

You can't in the English version! The only ways to get Myuu/Mew

in the English version is to win the contest Nintendo is doing or to

use Gameshark and hack into the cartridge. He was completely

taken out of the game by the people who made Pokemon, Game Freak.

They wanted to keep the Pokemon cartridges in Japan special

7.How do I get Faiya/Moltres?

To get Faiya/Moltres you need to go through Champion/Victory Road,

where Indigo Plateau is. There are places on the ground that you need

to push rocks onto. You'll have to explore the cave and soon you'll find

a bird standing there by himself. This is Faiya/Moltres. It is a very good

idea to save before you fight him just in case you kill him accidentally or

he kills you. The best course of action to take if you want to catch

Faiya/Moltres is to first put him to sleep. Then, lower his health as low

as possible without killing him. If he wakes up while you are doing this,

then just put him back to sleep again. When he is asleep he is much easier

to catch. Then, just throw Hyper Balls/Ultra Balls until you catch him

8.How do I get Furiizaa/Articuno?

To find Furiizaa/Articuno, go to Futago Shima/Twin Islands directly

east of Guren Taun/Cinnabar Island. In the cave, push the rocks down

every hole that you can. eventually when you get down far enough in

the cave, you will notice there is water around you. Go to the left side

of the cave and if you see four boulders blocking the way a river flows,

then you're all set. Get in the water and go north until you find a secluded

island with a brid on it. This is Furiizaa/Articuno. It is a very good idea

to save before you fight him just in case you kill him accidentally or he

kills you. The best course of action to take if you want to catch

Furiizaa/Articuno is to first put him to sleep. Then, lower his health

as low as possible without killing him. If he wakes up while you are doing

this, then just put him back to sleep again. When he is asleep he is much

easier to catch. Then, just throw Hyper Balls/Ultra Balls until you catch him.

9.How do I get the pokemon blocking the bridge near Shion Taun/Lavender Town to move?

First, you need to get the pokemon no fue/poke flute (see #10). When you

get the pokemon no fue/poke flute, go up to this pokemon (Kabigon/Snorlax)

and use the pokemon no fue/poke flute. Kabigon/Snorlax will now wake up

and fight you. When you beat him or capture him, the road will be clear.

There are only two in the game, so you better catch at least one.

10.How do I catch hard to get pokemon in the Safari Zone?

There is no special way to catch pokemon in the Safari Zone. Some monsters

that only appear once or twice while you are in the Safari Zone you should

immediately throw a Safari Ball and just keep throwing them until he runs

away or you catch him. Other pokemon that appear frequently, don't be

afraid to throw rocks a couple times then throw a Safari Ball. If he runs

away, more than likely you will encounter him again very soon. Expect

to spend quite a large amount of money to catch rare pokemon like

Kentarosu/Tauros and Garuura/Kangaskhan

11.What about the US cheat to get all 150 pokemon?

That is just a lie/rumor. The requirements of the code are to go to

"the field of charmander's". Well, you can't catch Charmanders in

he wild! You can only get them from Dr. Oak. So that puts that rumor to rest.

12.How do I get Myuushii/Mewtwo?

You need Naminori/Swim HM to get Myuushii/Mewtwo and also

you need to have beaten the Pokemon League to get access to the

cave that he is in. To get Myuushii/Mewtwo, go to Hanada/Cerulean

City and go north to the top of the bridge and notice the water to

the left. Get into the water and just follow where it goes. You will

soon get to the mouth of a cave. Go in. In this cave, there are very

powerful monsters, around L:60 and L:70, and also a lot of items.

Just go through the cave and find Myuushii/Mewtwo. The best way

to catch him is to use the Master Ball since he is the hardest monster

to catch in the game.

13.How do I get Sandaa/Zapdos?

First you need to find Myuushii/Mewtwo, and to find him you need the

Naminori/Swim HM. Go to the entrance of Rock Tunnel, directly east

of Hanada/Cerulean City, and go north, above the grass there where

there is water. Get into the water and follow the course of it until you

get to a building with a bunch of rocks outside. This is the Abandoned

Power Plant. Go in. There are a variety of electric pokemon there along

with a lot of items to pick up. Some of the item balls are actually

Biriridamas/Voltorbs so watch out. Follow the path in the Abandoned

Power Plant until you get to a bird sitting there by himself. This is

Sandaa/Zapdos. It is a very good idea to save before you fight him just

in case you kill him accidentally or he kills you. The best course of action

to take if you want to catch Sandaa/Zapdos is to first put him to sleep.

Then, lower his health as low as possible without killing him. If he wakes

up while you are doing this, then just put him back to sleep again.

When he is asleep he is much easier to catch. Then, just throw Hyper Balls/Ultra

Balls until you catch him.

15.Where is the Pokemon no Fue/Poke Flute?

To get the Pokemon no Fue/Poke Flute, you need to go to the top of the

Pokemon Tower in Shion Taun/Lavender Town. But one problem is that

there is a pokemon that is guarding the stairs that lead to the top and you

can't see the pokemon since he is a ghost. To be able to see the ghosts, you

need to get the Shirufu Sukoopu/Shilf Scope. To get this, go to Tamamushi/Cerulean

City and go into the gambling center there. When in there, there is a man

standing in front of a poster, talk to him, and he will fight you. When you

beat him, go up to the poster and press A, and a secret door will open to the

right. Explore the area down there. There are items to get, guys to fight, and

a boss named Giovanni you need to defeat. When you defeat Giovanni, he

will give you the Shirufu Sukoopu/Shilf Scope. Go back then to the Pokemon

Tower in Shion Taun/Lavender Town. You now can see the ghosts and catch

them. Go to the top level, beat all the guys up there, and talk to the man at the

end. You will transport to his home in Shion Taun/Lavender Town. Talk to him

again and he will give you the Pokemon no Fue/Poke Flute!

16.I beat _______ (Gym leader's name here), how do I use ______ (Hidden Machine name here)?

I get lots of questions like this regarding the pokemon gym leaders saying

"You now have the ability to use cut/flash/strength/swim/fly." What they mean

when they say this is that when you get the HM and use it on a pokemon, you

can use the ability. You don't get the HM from the gym leaders, just the

ability to use them when you get new HMs. This is to prevent someone giving

you a pokemon with cut right when you start off in the game or a pokemon

with swim or fly. Nintendo and Game Freak didn't make it as clear as they

thought when they were translating Pokemon I guess
