| First Entry- Sometime in Mid July: What can I possibly have to say about school, after all I haven't been to one in over 10 months. Well that's not gonna stop me, I have plenty to say about how horrid the public education system is. I will start by saying that the government purposely employs teachers for little wages, makes them work long hours, and tells them to teach the students repitive boring meaningless drivel so that they can say they are helping with the future of humanity. All I have to say is HA! What with the disgruntelled teachers, stress levels that could kill a cow, and all that fucking florescent lighting its no wonder children are so stupid, its no wonder humanity as a whole is so stupid. They justify all this by saying "I had to do it, its only fair that my kids have to suffer the same thing even though I already know from years of expierence(and therapy to forget it) it was pointless and painful." These teachers brainwash young vunerable minds into little industrial labor clones who's greatest amition by the time they graduate highschool(if they do) is to work in a factory with their parents. See a long time ago when this country was just starting out the first of the united states government figured out that if the lower classes became too well imformed and intellegent they would no longer be content with their lot and would become ambitious of their power, not to mention they might figure out they were being heavily exploited. So what does the government do? make it impossible for a child to be properly educated by drawing out what should be 5-7 years of learning into 14-16 years(not counting college, which I am not going to even address here) and not only that but they devised a system called "public education" wherein the children are exposed daily to extremely high stress levels, and tedious memorization of useless lists of facts. This whole expiernce is usaully so tramatic to the child that in the end they are completely stripped of will, as that is any "good" teachers mission in life, to make obediant little civil servants. Secound Entry- August 30th, 2003: Now that I have actually been back to school I must say that it is far worse than I ever remembered. Highschool is without a doubt even worse than Middle School. |
