June 21 - the first day of summer and what better way to celebrate! For those of you who may not have been there yet, it really is in a barn - and there is no heat or air conditioning, so dress appropriately and be prepared for a swim in the lake, to play some volleyball (socks and sneakers a must), and all the usual other things (like rain gear!). There will be games for the kiddies. There will also be a P�tanques tournament for the big kiddies a.k.a. the adults)
Paul & Laure will have the basics grill food & beverage-wise. As always, feel free to bring whatever else you want! Please co-ordinate w/ Alex.
DIRECTIONS
~ BY CAR (FROM THE SOUTH):
Take the SAW MILL PARKWAY TO 684 NORTH) to EXIT 6A - GOLDENS BRIDGE.
At the end of the exit, turn LEFT ONTO ROUTE 22 NORTH.
GO A SHORT WAY (about 0.5 mile) until you see an overpass in front of you and a sign for Rte. 138 on your right.
Turn RIGHT up the ramp and continue to traffic light.
Then turn RIGHT onto ROUTE 138 EAST.
Take your first RIGHT onto POND STREET.
Take POND STREET to your first LEFT onto HALL AVENUE - The BARN will be the big red structure a little ways down on the left side of the road.
Please try to PARK on the BARN SIDE of the street. If it's getting busy, there's a small grass parking lot at the end of the road by the lake.

At the north end of the platform there is a staircase that goes up to Rte. 138. Turn right on 138 and walk over the highway, past the traffic light to the next right, which is Pond St. Turn right on Pond then left on Hall Avenue to the barn. If you are lazy, or have small kids, call JC for a lift (516) 241-5310. It will take 5-10 min. to come get you.
