North and west of the main clearing, there is a small lake at the base of a mountain. A waterfall, probably fed by a mountain stream, keeps this lake full. Alicorn named this waterfall Star Falls, after the one near the Moon Runners' Clearing, her first home. The lake is called the Crystal Lake by those who know of it. The river runs east of this clearing, flowing down from the mountains before curving west further south.
One must cross the river to get here, but at many places the current is slow enough that there is little danger in crossing. The pack often comes here for special pack meetings and also in the summer to swim. There is a path up the mountain that leads to the source of the waterfall, and jumping down into the lake from there can be quite exhiliarating! Also behind the waterfall is a small cave, which is wonderful when playing hide-and-seek. Don't disturb Anyas though; this is his den!

To the east of the main clearing, there is a series of short, green h ills called the Zephyrs. The Zephyrs are borded to the west by the clearing, to the east by the sea, and to the north and south by forest. North of the Zephyrs, within the forest, Castle Dark Moon sits by the sea, lonely and forgotten. This once magnificent fortress, now crumbling and abandoned, is all that remains from a time when humans walked this island. No one knows why they left, where they went, and why they have never returned.
The castle is surrounded by a moat that contains many friendly creatures, such as alligators and snakes. Swimming in the moat is not recommended; cross the drawbridge instead. This castle was once home to a pack of wolves, the Dark Moons pack, led by Darkmoonwolf, a friend of Alicorn. The Silver Mists now use the Great Hall for meetings when it rains, and Naicila uses one of its rooms as a den. There are many rooms within the castle, a kitchen, bedroom, chapel, armory, etc. and many secret passageways. This, too, is a fun place to play hide-and-seek.
