Xarae is a young she-wolf, only 2 and a half years old. She loves to run around and play, being very hyper for her age. She is of a very average size, with long gangly legs that she hasn't grown out of yet. She was born on May 30, in the year of 2004. She is a Timber Wolf/Red Wolf cross shaded light grey with darker shadings that ripple and create a pleasing effect. The tips of her ears and tail are ebon, and her left hind leg is darker as is her right fore leg. Her eyes are a bright lively yellow with small green flecks melded in. In the past she has belonged to her mother's pack, her mother was very old when she gave birth. She had been pronounced barren and was wretched with the news, but her mate Phyre still tried. Eventually she had a litter, and all the puppies except her had died. Her parents died when she was a year old, as her mother was seven when she had her. Her father was almost ten years old when he died. She knew it was their time, and dejectedly, she moved on, coming to the Silver Mists pack and finding refuge, and a sheltered life.

On June 8th Xarae became a Pledge and on June 13th she became an Assessment. On July 11th Xarae was initiated and began training for the rank of Guardianess. Before completing her training, Xarae was nominated to become Gamma, and began training on July 18th. On July 18th, she began courting Flames. Xarae was promoted to Gamma on August 7th. After the demotion of Lenne and the disbanding of the Gamma rank, Xarae was chosen by the pack to be the new Beta, after her training. On August 28th, Xarae became mates with Flames. On October 16th 2006, Xarae was promoted and became Alpha alongside Kalari.
