Sunflare was born November 20th in the year of 2005; making him roughly a year old. He has black fur and his eyes are a shade of blue-grey.

Sunflare became an Assessment on March 14th, and was initiated on April 18th. On that same day, he became Kalari's ward. On May 16th he became Kalari's son. On August 27th 2006, Sunflare dissappeared from the Clearing and never returned. On October 28th 2006, Sunflare was found deep in the forest by Katara and Akera and returned home, back to the Silver Mists.

Sunflare was born of a Black timber wolf female and an artic wolf male. When Sun was about 2 months his father was captured in a human steel trap and his fathers pelt was taken. His mother had been snared in an ankle trap which flung her high into a tree. There had been poachers about for a while at the time he was born. They where gone now. On Sun's forhead there is a bit of white running from his muzzle to his forhead which looks like a burst of white flame. The white flame is part of his name's meaning. SunFlare, Sun, for being born midday, Flare for the long streak from his nose to forehead.
