Born forth on January 4, 2002, SunFlare Amarante was now two years and 10 months old when he died. He had tawny, sun-colored fur with white patches and brown eyes. He had a light brown spot between his shoulders, like his father. He was the largest male of his litter, though not as strong as his smaller brother. He was 2'9" tall and about 5' long, like his father, but was thinner and weighed less than normal. His right ear was a bit tattered. Though he was grown, he was still as troublesome and energetic and as clumsy as he was as a pup. He was not a very good fighter, but had an awesome sense of smell.
After the fall of the Silver Mists, Sunflare wandered through the forest, searching for his family. At last, he made his home deep within the mountains, in a cave, where he felt safe. He got into a lot of trouble on his own, and never having been much of a fighter, was injured many times. He was hunting a rabbit one morning when he caught the scent of wolves again and followed it to the clearing, where his mother and sister gave him herbs to help heal his wounds. Sunflare is usually seen at his mother's side when present in the clearing, but does a lot of exploring. He became Guardian on September 28, 2004. He later left to seek out more former Silver Mists and bring them home. When he returned for the winter, he was attacked by the Thunder Howls while heading to the clearing with Rubyna. He died just before back-up arrived.
Sunflare was the biological son of Alicorn and StoneWolf and biological brother to Naicila, Chalcedony, CinderPaws, Anyas + Raika, SilverStorm, and Katara. He was uncle to Snow^Whisper & MoonFire + Kindar and Grey_wolf[adopted] (Katara & ShadowWlf). He was the foster brother of FirE^PawS + Khan-, Cryos, and Kamatz, and foster uncle of CrystalStar, GrizzlyPaws, DarkenedStorm, NightCry & MoonDreamer (FirE^Paws & Cryos), EmberStar, DiamondFire, Ali_Paws, DarkTail, MistyMoon (FirE^Paws), Fire^Fang & BlackenedRain (adopted by FP & Cryos). He was the great-uncle of CriDoux, Moonlight, Krys, Starlight, and Esprite (BR). He was the spiritual nephew of RedWolfie, Sheyin, and Zimazk and spiritual cousin to Mariel, Matthias, Mattimeo, Sayna (Red) as well as Solara, The_Redwolf, FlamingRain, Kalima, Seeker, SilverPaws, Jupiestar, NightPaw, Fairlight, EmberEyes, and Leto (Sheyin). His paternal grandmother is SilverDawn, and her maternal grandparents are CrimsonStar & Sapphira. He was the step-son of RebelWolf and thus nephew to Manx.
Sunflare was the biological nephew of Malachite, AngelWolf + NyteHowl, Rubyna + HarvestMoon, Topaz, and FirE^Wolf, cousin of Zephyr and CelticHowl (Fire), NightWhisper & NightZephyr (AngelWolf), Rubyna II (Rubyna); first cousin once removed of FeatherPaw, Fire^Whisper, BladeHowl, SwiftPaw, MythClaw, Raelyn, Whitefire, Kalsara, SeiferSpirit, Alyieska, Fale (Zephyr), MercuryWlf (NightWhisper), Silver-Paw, CrescentCub, JynxWlf, BlackPaws, IceRose, Sashi, & WinterTwilight (Celtic). His first cousins twice removed are LightSpark and ShadowStreak. Though these wolves are biological relatives, they are more like distant cousins. His true family, listed above, are the Silver Mists.
